I have Tyranids. I am currently destroying boxes of perfectly good models with plastic glue and overenthusiasm for Devlan Mud. (My nidlog is in my sig for proof.)
I actually plan to start playing after many years of sneering at the battle reports in White Dwarf. I'm quite scared.

Welcome to dakka,
I checked out your blog and your painting is fine, I think that every new coming has trepidations on if their painting is any good, if you are after ways to improve I would highly suggest posting in the P&M forums and experiment.
Think about it this way, it can only get better right?
