I spent a lot of time lurking news and rumors on this site before joining up. I have been playing 40k since 2009 and have a pretty solid ork army at 3000 points painted. I am about to move to the outskirts of LA near Palmdale and Lancaster. I'm looking for a group to play 40k and fantasy with as I start a lizards army. In college I played a lot of other tabletop games (lots of pen and paper stuff) and magic the gathering, before making the switch to models. Because of this I have become a huge fan of the dark heresy/deathwatch/rogue trader systems, so if anyone in that area is doing that I would also be interested in playing or running a game. I'm interested in expanding some of my painting skills. One thing that always impresses me is when people can paint really cool lighting effects in their models and dioramas, so that is one technique I look forward to attempting. I just started work as a Youth Director at a camp, So i'm usually pretty busy in the summer time, but I have evenings free to paint, model and play. If nothing else I can finally start uploading some pics and getting some constructive criticism about some of my models. I also love all the rage on these forums, I have had so many laughs at Melissa and HBMC threads over the last few months.

Cheers
