Heya, new member to the forums, and fairly new player to 40k(been playing ~6months).
Used to play Magic: The Gathering, but then some friends got me started as vanilla SM, but shortly after I started, they released BA's. While I wasnt playing really at that time they first came out, just the idea of Death Company, made me a instant BA player. Then I learned the other fluff behind them, and loved the army even more.
I am very new to building/modeling/painting, and I think that is another reason i am falling in love with this hobby. Just the pure amount of things to think about, things to learn how to do, etc. I will admit I am slow about learning anything past the basic fluff of most of the other 40k universe, but it seems my focus is on learning to paint/model, and learn the fluff later.

I joked with friends that I was going to add sparkles into my varnish
Also, one of my friends plays space wolves and were going to say that if we ever played each other, we would have to then dub our teams from that point on in the tourny as team jacob and team edward. We dont even like/watch/read twilight, just thought it would be halarious cause we know the type of people at our shop and the reactions we would get.
