Need some help settling on a colour for the Dark Eldar I have planned. It's a toss-up between a quick-to-achieve red, and a smooth-looking blue. Your opinion is appreciated.

Red, althought it is entirely prefereence, the blue may make them look to marineish.

I'm a sucker for red, that's where my vote lands.

Voted for red - I don't like the look of the blue from what I can see, seeing a fully painted example of each scheme would help.

Red, particularly because I like the way you did the red there.

I am a fan of blue. I seem to work blue into every army I do in some way. In this case, however, I am favoring the red. The thing is, though, the other colors you want to use. Will they go better with red, or with blue? That will make a significant impact on the model.

PH: Perhaps it is a little dull, but I'm not a fan of bright DE. Takes too long to do, methinks. I could always add a light drybrush of Blood Red over the top?

I have recently painted a coverted Archon for a local competition. I painted it with both Red and Blue and it looks awesome!

Or this color i think looks so good on Dark Eldar
