Hey all,

Name's Matt, I'm Canadian.

I've been privy to wargaming and tabletop gaming for years thanks to friends of my parents who always brought me along to gaming conventions and the like, and only recently have I finally decided to make the jump into getting into the hobby.

Basically, I'm debating about whether I'm going to be starting off with 40K or Warmachine/Hordes, as 40K's definitely bigger in my area and the allure of the fluff is undeniable, but Warmachine seems like it'd be easier on my wallet initially (especially with the sale going on right now) and easier to learn, plus I like the emphasis on using fewer units.

With regards to races/factions, definitely going with Necrons for 40K and Legion of Everblight for Hordes, but can't seem to come to decide between Cryx, Cygnar and Khador for Warmachine (though in reality I think I like the designs of the Retribution of Scyrah warjacks the most).

I hope to get involved with the community in a much bigger way real soon! Cheers guys.
