This is a terrible and illegal list. You can't fit the Archons unit in the Venom, its capacity is 5. You have no Haemonculi to make the Wracks troops. And, no where near enough bodies to win. Start correcting your list by actually reading the codex, then reading Thor and Dash's tactica. Burn this list, forget it ever existed, trust me, we will too. . .

Sorry OP, but Grim Smasha is right. Without wanting to sound rude, have you read the codex? you currently have 7 elites and no troop options at all. 4 Raiders with only 3 models in each, an empty Venom and a foot-slogging HQ. At least you got the heavy support right The bare minimum you can do to make this list work (although not very well imo) is to swap the Archons Venom for a Raider, and take a Haemonculus to go with one wrack unit.

Yes it's legal now
To be honest I think you're spending to many points on HQ and Elite options for a 1500 list, your troops are really suffering because of it. If I was you I'd at least make them units of 5 in venoms (4+ the haemy for one of them). Or you could swap them out for units of 5 warriors with a blaster. Cut down on the Trueborn if you are short of points.

I just want to use the council at 1500 - I'm open to any suggestions at all. So if someone has a way to better the list ... fantastic. I have no problems with five warriors and a blaster instead of wracks but ... I need enough DLs to be effective no?

You don't need Dark lances, the problem is that you need plenty of anti-tank. Blasters do this job just as well as Dark Lances, just with a shorter range. If you changed to Venoms for the troop choices, you'll still have 22 Dark light weapons in a 1500 list, thats not bad at all.
I don't know how many points you'd have spare if you did that, but you may be able to add another model to the Archons court (seeing as there is 1 empty space in the Raider).

Put the warriors into venoms with dual cannons and stick the hammy with the council. But remember to separate him from the archon when you're going to assault, hammys don't have fleet and I promise that you'll need it quite often. Also give the hammy a liquifier, it's an incredibly useful tool for what it costs. Looks much better now. One last thing, give your ravagers flickers, they rock.

Not so much. 5 strong wyche units are garbage. 50% will die when their ride explodes leaving you with a useless unit. If you use wyches you need them 7(not optimal for many players) - 9(Very optimal for me) and a Hammy to go along with them so they don't die when a stiff wind blows on by. Warriors work in 5 man teams because they're ranged and thus can maintain some semblance of use after their ride gets taken down. You really only want the blaster that comes with a minimum unit, which is 5, anyhow. So, switch back to warriors in venoms or put more substantial wyches in raiders with hammys. There is little other option for cost effective troops. And, dear lord, get the True Born Blasters instead. IMO they are much more effective. They provide much more than anti armor support, they can pwn MC's, Terminators, insta-gib Tau battlesuits and so on, you want them up close and mobile IMO.
