Hi,
I've been a modeller for quite a few years now and have just gotten into the whole Warhammer thing after previously building a lot of aviation and military models.
I live in Lowestoft, which is the most easterly point of mainland Britain, and I'm lucky in that there's a local craft shop that stocks Warhammer goods. There's also a Games Workshop branch in Norwich (which I've yet to visit) which is only 40mins away by train and the main warehouse for Hannant's Models is a 5min scooter ride away in Oulton Broad. Saying that, I buy a lot of my Warhammer gear off a well known international auction site as it works out a lot cheaper in the long run.
I'm currently working on Tau and Kroot conversions and having a bash at converting Cadian Shock Troopers to Praetorian Guard figures.

If you are doing a lot of converting throw up a WIP thread or similar lets others see your stuff and spreads good ideas and so on.
