What Kilkrazy said, please.
If I were to have to buy the rules and corrected cards, I would at the very least expect a serious discount from what it would cost me to do it myself.
As I said, I could see it costing me about $30 (depending on final page count- the current is 57 plus covers, I think) to print out the rulebook alone at Office Max, unless I get lucky and hear about a sale (usually half-price). I will already have to pay about 8 dollars for the Lights Out campaign if I want a physical copy, and would still be looking at getting replacement cards printed on top of that.

I'm pretty sure I've done nothing even remotely close to this, but hey - feel free to contradict me with some quotes.
What IZ did was enter the discussion by saying a.) Studio McVey released a product that amounted to garbage, b.) if Studio McVey didn't edit the rules and miniatures to his satisfaction and give him new versions it would be a "slap in the face", and c.) anyone with another opinion is an idiot/pansy/etc.
I personally like the Sedition Wars game and miniatures I received from Studio McVey. It's not perfect and I've enjoyed the games I've played up to this point. So I find it obnoxious and mildly offensive when people insinuate I'm stupid (or something similarly derogatory) for not agreeing with their point of view about it. Ergo, I tried to communicate the opposing viewpoint, which ( IMO) amounts to a.) I like the product I received and am not offended by it, and b.) sometimes **** happens and I think it wise to try to be forgiving and understanding when it does.
Now, I happen to lean toward the position that SM should probably give a revised version of the rules to those of us who funded the SW game via Kickstarter - but I'm not going to lambaste the company and try to start internet fights with everyone who doesn't immediately agree with me (i.e. more or less what IZ has done).

This is the very definition of a winner right here.
Starting fights with people who want to get the product they paid for and then accuses those people of being ‘e-combatants’ and attack anyone who doesn’t seem to be on your side and then accuse someone else of doing this exact thing, huh. Pot calling the kettle black much?
So instead of being upset with a company who failed to deliver the quality product, you are picking a fight with a disgruntled customer of that company and attacking anyone who feels the same way.
You are the aggressor here, a new user who decided to jump in and play White Knight to Studio McVey for reasons unknown; if I had to guess probably because this is the only source of conflict that you can find.
Despite now changing your opinion, you’re still trying to continue to pick a fight with me while ignoring what is going on. Now you’ve changed your position to lean towards they should probably give us the revised rules.
Seriously, give it up, you’re simultaneously trying and failing to attack me while already having conceded to my viewpoint; you lost.
P.S. Nobody has seen you prove anything with quotes, yet you ask others to. You are the one who rode in on the high horse on the attack, maybe you should be proving your point. Oh wait, you've already conceded your point.

Hey, man, I'm out. I've already spent more time and energy than I should have trying to communicate my viewpoint to you, and you're still twisting around what I've posted (Starting fights? Attacking? White Knight? Yeah, OK. Read what I actually wrote again). Whatever floats your boat, I guess.
Just wanted to let you know I'm done. You can feel free to post whatever you want about Sedition Wars and Studio McVey knowing that I won't bother adding my two cents.
I'm pretty sure you'll take this as a sign that you've "won" (which, when you think about it, sort of verifies the "e-combat" thing I posted earlier), but I really have just said my piece and don't want to spend any more of my time on it.
Peace.

It's one of the best places to find (and debate) easy information updates about what's going on with the Kickstarter, at least until it's finally done with.

Might be better to wait for the Revised-rulebook second printing. Automatically Appended Next Post: On the rulebook issues - you remember when the campaign was in progress, how we laughed and poked fun at the entitled opinions of the BGG crowd who were clamouring to see the rulebook?
Imagine if they had released the rulebook back then, rather than being coy - I imagine that many of the issues that have come to light later would have been picked up with the opportunity still available to correct them before the game went off to printing.
I trusted McVey at the time to, well, not make a dog's breakfast of it. With the miniature quality issues and as with a number of other KS producers, my confidence and trust with them on any pre-release product is gone.

Hello,
The THI suit is approximately the size of a space marine terminator. If you really want I can take a comparison shot between a THI suit and a vanguard trooper for you. It seems like they raised the prices if they are up to 22 pounds. :(

You can get metal versions of them from CMON's store for $25 (works out at about £16). Really nice model. You get the option of having the visor up or down with a head to go with it. The only variants between the two are the different arm options. Everything else is the same.

Here you go. This is a THI suit beside a lights out vanguard and lights out strain. I will note that these are intended to go on 40mm bases, you can buy the detailed ones separately (couldn't find mine to use in the pic).
If you need any other comparisons just ask me, I've got all of the Sedition Wars line in metal/resin.

No trick they were originally on 40mm bases they did away with that size and all the big stuff including the THI suits now goes on 50mm bases - it makes no difference gameplay wise as the they cover 4 squares either way.

They didn't do away with that size. The THI suits and Jaganaught still go on 40mm bases. If you think otherwise, go check the Studio McVey webstore.
