I just discovered Dakka Dakka yesterday, searching for some painting advice, and several hours later had a new, long list of projects, including weathering, battle damage, freehand work, skin tone improvements, extra details and all sorts of other bits, for my
40K Orks and Space Marines. The tutorials are fantastic, tvm. Previously, my next project had been a Stompa, which may now have to stay in the box for a while longer.
I have uploaded some pics of all my armies old and new. They are mainly large but generic, and though the
40K stuff has gone the same way so far, the inspiration on here may change all that. Please have a look, particularly if you would like to see what 20,000 points of Epic looks like.
For anyone who notices, yes, the
40K Dark Angels successor are blue and white, there is 6,000 year long back-story to explain why, or at least there will be once I’ve finished it.
Thanks to all for all the pics and advice on here, really impressive, hope my own work shows much improvement once I’ve taken it all on board. Though I might have to do the Stompa first, can’t abide models sitting around on their sprues
