In real life, I'm Mark Stone, a teacher and author living in Northern California. I've been playing roleplaying games for a long time, and only recently branched out into wargaming. Right now, 40k's my only game. I've got a growing - and nearly painted - army of Tau and just got a great deal on a couple of thousand points of unpainted Blood Angels. I'm not sure which I prefer, yet.

I'm equally interested in painting, modeling, and actually playing.

You're probably going to see a lot of n00by questions from me, as I'm still pretty new to this game and have only managed to play a handful of times. Don't worry, I'll also try to comment intelligently and insightfully.

That's why I was interested in the Blood Angels in the first place - a little variety!

Perhaps some day...

Actually, the first time I ever considered getting into 40k was back in high school, and the army I perused (and made numerous lists for, and obsessed over) was the Space Wolves. Then my intolerably controlling mother stepped in, and... well, that was that.

At the moment, the ton of cheap models I'm getting are Blood Angels, so the Sons of Sanguinus will be my next army. And Space Wolves have some awesome models, but there's nothing quite like bloodthirsty madmen whose power armor includes wings. Wings! If I ever make another Space Marines force, though, it will probably be Space Wolves.

Or Salamanders .
