hello everyone, , im new to the site and thought id share my 'little' project. while i dont corrently play warhammer, i did about 10 years ago when i was 14 or so and i was left with a everlasting image in my head. a dream if you will, to own my very own spacemarine. an image i got from seeing a huge statue of one outside of the games workshop store around where i lived. so now that im 24 and have some knowledge of how to go about making my own space marine, i have. as of right now, its taller than me and im 6'4 and i still have to add the head and backpack. im going for a heavy bolter marine (to explain the odd stance of the legs) and its being constucted out of all kinds of materials since im really not sure what the hell im doing like i thought lol. so im trying all kinds of different methods and materials trying to work out the best combo but basicly the construction is as follows; a rough skeleton of wood or foamboard covered in foam and various types that is shaped then i used durham water putty, wood putty and drywall mud to fill in any areas as needed. i then cover it all with a few layers of fiberglass and bondo to smooth it all out. its still a work in progress and i have alot more work to do but i will updating as i finish parts, any input and comments would be helpful, also and photos of a heavy bolter marine would help when it comes down to details, thanks
