Sentinel, I almost feel like you are too accommodating. Seriously.

Say no. Just once. Please?

NOOOO!!!!

I think that some proposals are very easy.
Of course, if you read the comments on the Kickstarter campaign sometimes I have to say "no" but when somebdoy ask for such simple things, I must agree.

Wow I just came across this and all your stuff looks amazing. Had a brief look at the rule and it looks very playable.

Will the kickstarter just be humans and Glorlon or will the other races be available to choose from when the kickstarter ends?

I cant resit playing a Vorlon err Elohim race, I really cant.

Nice solid rules and great minis (and Vorlons), I so want this to work.

Thanks!

@Necro We think is better release as much models as we can of the first two faction before new ones. But all depends on the success of the KS campaign.

In our KS campaign you will find the materials for a platesting (cards, army lists, etc):

Very wise decision as there is nothing worse than over promising and then under delivering.

I like both of those factions as well. In truth I like all the faction that you have put up and would really like this game to develop to it's full potential.

Might have to get behind this one and do my part so you can succeed and go on to do great things, like creating Elohim’s

Well done Sentinel I am very impressed so far.

Well I just signed up and backed the kickstarter.

Also did the poll and Elohim is in front so a double win.

Great project and so close to the goal now.

The Regulatory Corporation rise

As the revolution expanded and its newly formed army defeated the legions of the Authority in the battle on planet Assumut (491), transgalactic corporations understood that the Authority had lost all influence. Twelve major companies decided to fuse into one organization, the Regulatory Corporation, and began creating their own army.

Finally in 494 the United Authority disappeared: on one side the rebels from the outer worlds formed the Union of Colonies, on the other, The Regulatory Corporation expanded trying to fill its void. Many other worlds fell into anarchy and chaos, at the mercy of pirates and warlords.

I don't like the measuring in Total Extinction when you shoot. First declare and then measure. After GW did throw that, as one of the last, out of the window, why want it back in the game?

That's a nice update. Actually gives me a lot more confidence in this. That much plastic injection molding would've been biting off more than they could chew if only the base goal is raised (30K). Resin is a better choice for this kind of quantity, imo (i.e. not hundreds of thousands of models, just thousands).

Bring on the resin kickstarters! Down with PVC!

I'm surprised this hasn't gained more traction and progress - it's a shame to see good looking models in a campaign like this not yet reaching funding amounts.

I wonder if its just a case of possibly not enough pre-KS marketing coupled with the close proximity to Christmas that is holding people back (might also be that things like Reapers Bones which isn't fully finished yet funding wise because of Paypal additions is leaving people both out of pocket from funding that and also sitting on money for it).

With quite a few stretch goals and only just over 2 weeks to go have you considered ending early and closing it before you fund and then coming back for a much stronger second round in the new year. Slows things up a bit, but you'd have a good £20K+ in early backers to jumpstart the first day and a good start then could easily snow ball into getting way more funding to let you unlock a lot more of those extras.

Well, it's pretty close to funding with 15 days to go, so I don't think actually hitting the funding mark is going to be a problem.

For some reason, on Kickstarter actually hitting the funding doesn't seem to be viewed as a success lately, but it really is! Sometimes, it's better for a campaign not to absolutely blow up- it makes the deliverables and quantities more manageable. Particularly since they're going with resin models now, it's not a requirement to get to the huge "economies of scale" needed for plastic production.

I know this perception might be because some campaigns set their targets artificially low, but £30,000 is almost $50,000! Speaking as a backer of Trollforged's kickstarter, who I love and am a big supporter of but still waiting on, delivering on $50K worth of models is quite an undertaking. So, it's doesn't have to raise $100K to be a success, and might be better off at around $50k.

Of course, this might boost up beyond that, but I'm just saying raising $50K to make a game is a big accomplishment, and if it's in resin it makes it more manageable to deliver

RiTides Aye some good points there indeed. I think that it really depends on the nature of hte KS itself. Something like a book printing or comic printing is likely only adding extras if they get to stretch goals - something like a miniatures game is often adding quite a bit more and I think many of the miniature campaigns set a low funding goal with the aim that they reach it fairly quick and then can expand the range with stretch goals.

I agree most small companies don't want to get into too much beyond their scope - it can be damaging as your production time and complexity jump up a lot if you really go mad with a KS which can cause slowdowns in fulfillment - especially as whilst they have extra funding they can only expand by so much otherwise they end up too big to function after the KS boom period.

@CptJake We are checking the design to ensure the weapons can be attached in different angles.

@Overread Of course we want to raise 300.000$, but with our funding goal is enough to start production and see our miniatures on retail. We still thinking of Kickstarter as a kickstarter
