These would be some beastly lists, they would ether get destroyed by lances or destroy forces with sheer numbers. I sorta like the first list, no one ever uses BT Techmarines but they are pretty OP especially when you put one on a LR and give him BofO with a 5 rerollables. Now I already know someone is going to say your techmarine is in the LRC but he will be deployed in the LR for game setup aswell and the 2 Crusader sqauds that are using Heavy support LR of Transport (im not cheating I ensure you). I haven’t decided where I was going to put my EC, I might just leave one LRC empty and put it in the front to absorb some damage. Im not making this list to be extremely competitive but to not be a push over. Any thoughts?

Well I don't know. 1750 points of your list is in the 7 land raiders.
That being said, against certain armies, it would freak them out. And 7 LR(c/r)s would be super cool to see rolling across the table. And again, the main issue would, indeed, be an army that went heavy on anti-tank. Especially since that many raiders would block sight on each other.
Anyway, looks like a lot of fun ^ ^, though I'm not so sure about whether it's that competitive.
However, it's way too cool not to run (and I, personally, think if you run 7 raiders, there should be a bloody techmarine)

I remember that Stelek played a list with 7 LRs at 'Ard Boys in 2009.

OP, as you say, these lists will do well against some armies and get absolutely annihilated by others.

Would it be fun to play? Certainly! Would I expect to win a lot of competitive events with it? Not so much. There's too many melta guns and darklances out there for this list to get too out of hand.

Stelek went 3-0 in the prelims of Ard Boyz for 2 yrs i believe with a DH 7 LR army. I think his battle reports might still be up somewhere.

I know that you can still take a LRC as a HS so why not drop the Techmarine in the first list and give all the LRC blessed hull. Then you can just turn your nose up to lances, and focus fire on any melta squads. I think that that many heavily armored targets can cause some major target priority issues for your opponent.

The second list you could drop the standard LR and give the LRC blessed hull, have enough left over for another typhoon and be able to buy frags for all your marines (that just sounds wrong).

Well this list isnt ment for a competitive event like ard boyz just more so a fun list with a competitive edge. I was actualy thinking of making a list like this

The consecpt being putting all the troops in the LRC and all the Techmarines in the LR then rolling up the field like a Bad

Akroma06: I dont like using Blessed hauls only cause it is tailored to a DE or Eldar army and for 35 points i dont see the need for them

Yeah I get that it wasn't made for a tournament, but the hulls would make it more competitive as all you have to do is take out your opponents AT such as lascannons and meltas. Obviously lascannons first and meltaguns second...I still want to try this though.

Nice list, it would really be one hell of a fight against anyone. I dont think anyone is at all ready to face that many LRs at one time. You really dont see that many unless its an APOC game. The most I have ever run was 4 in a 2k list. But this will rock people if they dont get a good shooting phase in the first few turns.

I'm sorry, but Black Templar aren't as good as Blood Angels when it comes to spamming Land Raiders. 35pt Discount . . . hell yeah.

Taking 6 with Assault Squads leaves 610. Enough for 2 more Land Raiders and a Libby for Shield of Sanguinus, providing them all 5+ cover.

If you roll the cursor over the acronym, a glossary will usually appear.

Yeah that will stop 7 of 'em...lascannos and assualt cannons, shoot even huricane bolters out range you. Just move back and fire. Wanna get close BT love CC. Got Psykers? 5+ and bolt, gift there gone with this vow.
Also keep in mind that BT LRC come with the multi-melta so that cost is built in.

Man thats one scary list never really thought of running seven land raiders O.o if money was no option i'd sure as hell play this list just for the giggles to see what happened looks very fun!

Nvm, Blood Angels can only do 7 as well in a 2500.
