Huzzah, now people can stop griping about half a unit being released for the DE court (although I still think that the need to take all four is a misinterpretation of the codex).

Double huzzah on finecost Doom-flayer. Might buy one now.

Think Tyranid players will be gutted they finecosted the Venomthrope and not the Pyrovore

I'm still waiting for a Mordark (think thats how you spell it) model to come out in finecast for the grey knights.

But the finecast VenomThrope will be nice edit: except for the price rise

GW were harping on a long time ago about how they want more HQ units to be done in plastic kits (They did the space marine captain, and chaos termi lord) so you have most options available in one kit. Looks like they are finally getting their rears into gear on that respect, shame they aren't doing the ones most people are crying out for (read 'Ork Warboss')

If it were, it'd've been fixed by now.

But if the latest character kits mean anything, these will be small sprues with monoposed figs no?

Wow, not alot to like about the releases next month. The Finecast stuff is super expensive to make the overpriced plastics look cheap. I wanted a Sslythe, but not at that price. I will have to settle for S-S-Slythe.

A WD scan would be really appreciated

I'm assuming the Nurgle Lord is for Fantasy and not 40k. Makes me wonder when they'll bring the single blister plastic models to 40k.

I like that the other two court models will come out a month after the first two. Too bad a full unit is still way too expensive. And considering I still haven't bought the beastmaster units I wanted because of that fact, a much more useful unit that I really kinda need, sadly I don't see myself buying these.

While I am definitely not a fan of GW's prices by any stretch, $15.25 for the Ssylth is not super expensive by any means. As a single character type model it is on par with most Privateer, Infinity, and other releases. I was figuring that they would gouge people even more for those and charge $18-$20 for them.

I'm intrigued to see the Lhameans to see if they'd make good sultry vampire types for Fantasy.

Hope so. If there's one approach that GW have implemented this year of which I actually approve, it's these new single plastic miniatures. Long may it continue.

No scans from me. But I can describe.
1.) Sslyth: Human sized snake with 4 arms (gun, pistol, claw, sword), nice angular head, torso with DE armour and sash. Looks better than I expected.
2.) Lhamae: Nice ladylike DE with armour, long skirt and poisoned scimitar in left plus scabbard in right hand, bare head with long braid. Will become my favorite Archon.
3.) Fantasy CHaos general of Nurgle: Small closed mask with horn on one side. One horned shoulder pad, naked obese sick body with chainmail "loincloth" and full plate from knee downward. With axe.
4.) Lizardmen Oldblood: Ornamental, basically what you expect. Both plastics are new and good average IMHO, but I don't play either army.

Agreed. I have no interest in finecast at all, and not too keep on metal, so the more plastic the better.

They could do a warboss & big mek kit together. Also an Inquisitor kit would be sweet too.

Jes Goodwin mentioned he'd like the see multi option kits to come out in this line in some nondescript future, which probably means we're stuck with single pose/single purpose for the time being. Warboss/Inquisitor may come when the sprues actually support any options at all, since they don't offer any customization right now.
