The nurgle dude somewhat reminds me of the pic in the warriors of chaos book. Pretty decent release aside from prices

I'll definitely get a court at some point, just for the models. Good on ya, GW! All the new DE stuff really makes me wish I started an army, but I went with goblins for my new army instead..

I'm just hoping the new Necron stuff gets as many cool new models in waves and waves too

But I do have to echo what's been said, it's kinda sad that half the new nids in the codex never got models made. Not even from FW. Heck even IG too.. what ever happened to plastic stormtroopers? how about models for psykers battle squad and others? Oh well, more waiting

It'd be nice if DE were a line in the sand: "from here out, we complete lines before releasing new books." Sadly, it's more likely that Jes told them he'd do the whole thing at once because they wouldn't need updating for another twelve years.

well, I do kinda like the wave release thing.. If I'm starting a new army I can't afford every single model at once and having all that plastic laying around gets me burned out fast.. and the waves give you something to look forward to.. that said, it would be nice if they would tell us to look forward to in the first place, but that's a whole other dead horse discussion

The Nurgle bloke is not that pin headed as the shown pics seem to indicate. As said, it is just a mask to cover the face, from the back the bald head and the fat neck make the head look a bit bigger, bigger than pin head at least.

DE models are great, the Syth is pretty good but the Lhaemean (sp?) is jaw droppingly fantastic.

Old blood... meh... I don't like the design of Lizardmen infantry in general, so no surprise I don't love this one lol.

I was going to add 'It's not fair because the nids haven't got all their models yet' (checked, courtesy of HBMC, who's also become a champion of the Orks, it seems), but realised it's a sub-set of point 6.

I think that, once the Archon's court are grouped together, the slightly static posing will make sense. They're a command group, and appear to have been designed to look 'commanding' rather than being in combat. I'm sure Jes Goodwin (who's overseen the DE with a degree of care that no other army has received except the Marines) has thought about this. I think the Lahmean is a beautiful sculpt, while the Sslyth does look a bit too much like an alien that's been shoehorned into some DE armour.

I feel the same way, I am most pleased with these two models. Heck, they're the first Finecast models I want really badly! I thought the Ur-guhl was okay, the Medusae was pretty cool, but these two, dang.

I kind of feel reluctant to convert the Lhaemon into a Lady Malys, because I want to have at least one of each court model, I'd feel weird having two models so similar when they're supposed to be completely different characters.
