wow. that helmet looks a little small for the model, but rest looks nice. I may do a head swap.

Oldblood looks standard but nice.

Its a Sslyth, a xenos that Dark Eldar Archons use in their court as bodyguards since regular Dark Eldar can't be trusted, and they are also exceptional fighters to boot.

OT : I think they are the survivors of the Emperors Children decimation of the Laer race as detailed in "Fulgrim". Thats just my guess though.

I think the small helmet accentuates how much Papa Nurgle's beefed him up from the weak lil humie that he was.

Damned nice looking models.

No surprise I love the Nurgle guy.

But the two DE eldar court models are damned nice, I love the snakeman, shame it's only a single model, I'd love to get a bunch of those beauties.

I think the head needs to be replaced with a plaguebearer head, making a PERFECT herald of Nurgle for Daemons. Then 40k players can enjoy him too. I don't like the helmeted look, and I think he's awful as a human. But as a Daemon, he'd be great. Weird, I can hate him as one type of model, but just change the head and make him a Daemon, and we're golden. Oh well, this coming from the guy who hates oranges but loves orange juice, hates apple juice but loves apples, and hates blueberries but loves blueberry baked goods. I guess my opinion means donkey gak, huh?

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Suppose you hate donkeys, but love donkey gak?

I share your opinion, the nurgle lord as a WoC is not for my likling, but he'd fit very well with daemons. I can't imagine that guy counts as wearing Chaos Armour.

Liking all this stuff!

The Nurgle hero could use a tad bit more armor, but nothing some Greenstuff/bits can't solve!

I am really liking all these plastic WHFB characters, good look.

Yikes, I am so glad I bought Creed and Kell in metal a few weeks ago since they only cost me 22$ instead of seperate and 39$. I suppose I won't be putting a hole in someone's foot if I drop Kell on them though with the Finecast version.

Yeah, come on GW, support one of the more obscure armies like Space Marines! Dark Eldar have been your posterboys for the last decade, and it's about time you changed that!

I will never understand anyone complaining that Dark Eldar are getting new models. Considering how many years of the same lousy Gary Morley sculpts they had, I'm happy to see them get anything at all, let alone cool stuff like they've been getting.

I like them (other than the silly nonsense prices, especially for the Failcost minis - 4 arms just means two extra chances for miscasts!).

Are you kidding me? When the DE Codex came out it was a general assumption that the Archon's Court and some of the Beastmaster critters would never get models (I mean, the Tyranids are missing half their fething Codex - why would the DE get some obscure one-off models like the Sslyth or the Medusa?).

And yet here they are.

Meanwhile the Orks still haven't had a new Buggy/Trakk in damn near 15-ish years, and half the 'Nids are MIA.

Some small remarks:

1.) Yeah that's them.
2.) Lady Malys... erm ... the Lhamaean is a nice plastic Archon without conversion. BTW there is poison dripping from the sword in her left hand.
3.) The Nurgle general has a small head indeed, but the silver thing is a mask, not a helmet, the back is open.
4.) Difficult to see, but the Oldblood is descending a small stairs. Nice touch.

And answering another question:
There is no revealing last page, BUT a teaser page some pages ahead. See "Speculation on special September release (Update with WD September incoming page)" thread ( http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/270/371485.page

And it seems to be the fantasy naval game expected for September, that is now released in October.

Here more pics by Cohinor over at Warseer, who got his German WD subscription copy today (again nice how GW's new policy works out ):
