Ok, these are technically are not Nobz, per se. I can't afford to get Forge World Nob Bikerz when I already had these and they are so easy to covert. So if you want to be pedantic, these are actually Ork Warbikerz with Power Klaws. I'm thinking the rule of cool will save me here.

I already have 9, and will do 3 Goffs, 3 Deff Skullz, and 3 Evil Sunz. At that point I'm going to need to scramble to come up with a single bike to make a Painboy out of...

Here are all 3 from F\S\R. The image in the gallery is 2600[x for your zooming and/or mocking pleasure.

Skin tones are Orkhide Shade, to Knarloc Green to Goblin Green with a 50% mix between those (so, 5 shades), then washed with Thraka Green. No real skill involved other then thinning the paint.

The skulls in the front are a base of P3 Hammerfall Khaki, and successive drybrushes of lighter colors (like Bleached Bone and then 50/50 Bleached Bone and White) and then washed with Devlan Mud.

The power klaws are all from the same base PK that comes in the Boyz box for the Nob upgrade, but the blades were chopped off and re-positioned or replaced with sheet styrene replacements. Those were fun, by the way, and easy. I also added some Grandt Line rivets here and there, mostly to cover mistakes.

Very nice. I particularly like the poses and angles of these guys. Really lifelike. If I were to suggest anything, it would be possibly making some kicked up dirt effects on the bases, to make the bikes look more mobile.

A lovely simple quick technique that is flattering for your miniatures and economical with time.

Good work sir.

I think if you ran into someone who refused to play against you if you counted them as Nobz, you need to just not play against that person.

Those are great looking nob bikers, very orky. I love the checks, I can never paint those.

Have you thought about weathering them at all?

Very crisp and clean... very crisp and clean indeed. They still look Orky too which usually involves rusting everything in sight.

I would suggest the next step of your work would be to start adding pigment powders into your repertoire, which I think would really compliment your work and style nicely!

Great job!

i really like the posing!

How many Space Marines does it take to screw in a lightbulb.

6, 1 techpriest and 5 tacticals that stand around trying to pose like badasses.

An Ork, Space Marine and Eldar are walking down the road. They see a Chaos portal that has a sign on it. It says: 'say what is true or be sucked in'. The Space Marine says: "I think I'm the bravest" and walks past safely, the Eldar says: "I think I'm the most agile" and walks past safely. The Ork says: "Me thinks..." and gets sucked into the portal.
