Hey,
im new to this forum and war-gaming in general. over the summer i decided to start playing because i needed something new and interesting to do. so my roommate and i decided to get into warhammer 40k. i decided to start an ork army because i love their ability to customize freely and their general comic relief role they play in the game. and me roommate decided to play chaos space marines. then we stumbled onto dakka dakka and it really help us decide what army we wanted to buy, and what strategy to pursue. i have decided to go can wall with my army  so i just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.

Welcome to the green tide!!! Don't stop withthe kan wall... IMO every ork player needs in his armoury, 6 full squads of 30 boys with both the 3 big shoota and rokkit minis. Learn about multiple assaults and love them! Your options for orks are wide, and yes they are ridiculously fun wether they win or lose.
Mix yer boyz... slugga choppas and shoota boyz have thier places. Don't get too sucked into named characters, and no matter what anyone says, Flash Gits are rubbish.
