Its against Dakka rules to include the cost of every individual upgrade. I'd go ahead and remove them if I was you.

All of the upgrades to the Incubi aren't really necesary. A squad of 5 is more than capable of killing anything that they should be fighting.

You've miscalculated the cost of one of your Raiders, with FF's NS's and enhanced sails it should be 85 points.

You shouldn't spend points on gearing the warriors for close combat, if they're in assault they're as good as dead. If you want combat, take wyches instead.

I'd drop the Hekatrix's Pistol and Power weapon in favor of an agoniser. I think its the best combat weapon in the dex.

Reavers are very fragile, if I was you I'd either drop all the upgrades for one heatlance, or drop the unit. If you have the points you could make them into a 6 model unit with two HL's. But TBH there are a lot of other things that you'd be better off spending points on.

Sorry, didnt realise about points for all the items thing.
The reason I got the reavers is because they come in the Battleforce, but if you think their better off with just the heat lance and thats it then ok.

thanks for the raider point cost, didnt realise.

86pts? (I'm not sure, looking at codex online and the point value for heat lance is covered in glare.)

986pts

The reason that I have the incubi with upgrades is to make sure they deal as much damage as possible.

You'll need to go back and edit them out of your first post too If you double click on the post it will lt you delete the points values

The problem with incubi is, if you make them too killy, they'll wipe out the enemy unit too quickly and then have to survive a turn of enemy shooting. if you're locked in combat after the end of your turn then you're safe.

I'd also drop the Night shields on your transports. if you're going head first into your enemy (as you should), the -6" range wil hardly ever help! The extra 30 points will help you out a lot

I'd still drop the blast pistol on your Hek, they'll be better off running a lot of the time. It's up to you, but if you drop some of the un-needed upgrades you might be able to squeeze in another unit.

Aah right, in that case there's a few more questions to ask....are these the only models you have available to you? Or do you own a couple more options already? If you do, what are they?

Can you afford to get anything else at all or is this all you'll be able to get for a while? If you can get a little more, how much?

If you can afford to get maybe a haemonculus you could drop 1 wych and a special weapon and put them together. Its a great combo. With a liquifier they come to 60 points, that could easily be squeezed in if you can afford to buy one.

I would change the list a very little bit to:

Archon, Huskblade, Shadowfield, Combatdrugs, Soultrap
5 Incubi
Raider, Flickerfield, Nightshields

9 warriors, Blaster
Raider Flickerfield, Nightshields

8 whyches, Haywires, Champ, Agonizer
Raider Flickerfield, Nightshields

6 Reavers, 2 Heatlances

Ravager, Flickerfield, Nightshields

That will be 1K points of ass whoopin Dark Eldar

Yes they are basically the only models available to me.

I was going to comment on this till I realized I'd got you in another forum.

If you're really on a total lockdown in models (and don't want to listen to my advice about just looking for some smaller point games) you could choose to at least aim for some more of the upgrades to be generally functional.

Like take that Sybarite in the Warrior squad - you could get him some sort of assault weapon upgrade, and though it's hardly brilliant, is at least better than randomly slapping on some upgrades you'll never use because you might actually have some viable options for assaulting with that squad, especially if you're bothering with the Ghost Armor. He'd also be a better spot for a Blast Pistol than the Hekatrix, frankly.

Another immediate thought is the RJBs - get them some Caltrops or something. You might never use them, but as an option they're more useful than some of the other things because at least they could be used as an infantry harassment unit.

Shock Prows would also be a worthwhile buy - way more useful than sails.

That's all I've got.
