submunition packet ( str: 8 ap: 3 Ord 7" blast )
Co-axial Long range heavy ION cannon (range 90" str:8 ap:2 heavy 3 )

Wing turret ( X2 ) mounted Long barreled AA burst cannons (30" range) * may fire in missle shield mode, see special rules below.
twin linked long range AA missle pods (50"range)
Rail gun with submunitions.

Chin turret mounted ( x2 ) long barreled burst cannons (30" range )

dual rear hull mounted Smart missle systems.

Special rules : Missle shield mode may be activated for the wing turret mounted burst cannon systems, declared in owning players turn , the burst cannons may not be used to engage enemy units, but during the opposing players shooting phase may be used to engage any missle bomb or rocket based projectiles passing within 30" of the weapon mount, owning player announces he will intercept and rolls dice equal to the ROF of weapon, in this case 3 dice, using the BS of 3 ( drone system +targeting array) each hit removes one potential enemy shot from hitting its target. 2 hits from this system are required to intercept Ord class projectiles.

Equipment : decoy launchers, and disruption pod arrays, heavy flechette launchers ( turret mounted ), landing gear, and black sun filters.

Holy crap! That tank is amazing, I love it! The rules seem like they're balanced to the points cost, but I've never played an Apoc game so I can't say for sure. I'd definately like a chance
to try to blow it up, or at least fail in the attempt!

as for the rules, I would say they are pretty fair, and definitely follow the vehicle creation rules

Dude. Well done. Can the vehicle support a multi-tracker, targeting array, seeker missile, or sensor-spines as optional wargear? At that cost, I'm sure you could justify the addition of a networked markerlight or two as well.

Multi tracker is not needed as its a war machine ( and can already shoot all its weapons each turn and at seperate targets), and the weapons were paid for at a BS 4 in VDR , so basicaly it already has targeting arrays,

Sensor spines could be a go though, and seeker missles may become a upgrade to add as a bay enhancement.

I considered networked marker lights, but finally decided to leave that to the embarked units and its support personell.

Epic model, although for apocapypse a baneblade/varient is only 500-600pts. Iam not entirely sure that the tank should cost as much as a warhound titan myself.

Well a quick field test and 2 dead Stompas, so I am comfortable at leaving it at 1200pts...its a nasty customer, well mainly its main gun, and thanks for the name suggestions, but Mont'Ka ( trans. Killing blow ) is pretty apt for this system.

All in all the earth and fire caste are pleased, and the Ethereal in attendance gave it a deep nod of his head, so its clear for full production of 2 more prototypes.

I kid, I kid. That is awesome, and would start Tau just for that.

Now if only these were for sale....

Who knows maybe they will steal..I mean adapt this design for the new tau...I won't mind, just give me a few free ones and call it even .
