Hello All!
I'm relatively new to wargaming but I've been enjoying it so far. I've watched a lot more games than I've actually played lol, but I enjoy watching too. I've been really lazy about things but I've recently been inspired by various events to put more time and effort into all of it.
I started off with Fantasy but am moving now into 40k. Fantasy I have High Elves and 40k I'm starting with Dark Eldar which I'm getting for christmas from my awesome boyfriend. I'm also thinking it would be fun to get another Fantasy army. My favourite thing about the hobby is the painting I think. I whine a lot about doing it but I really do enjoy bringing life to the models and making them my own. I really like having variety in what I paint though so another army would be awesome just to give me something else to paint when I'm bored of sea guard lol.
I have no idea what else to babble about. Look forward to getting to know people and stuff =oD

We have had a few games of 40k already using his Orks and Chaos Daemons, but I really think its a whole different ball game using your own army. The games are much more fun in my opinion because you have more of an interest in whether your own army lives or dies than a borrowed one.

That is correct. It's especially fun to watch your force grow and evolve, even if it's in little tidbits. I for one buy only about a squad a year, but still I've got two fully fledged armies up to several thousand points each.

I myself use the gallery all the time to check out color schemes or just for inspiration. It is a great resource.

True, but don't go so far as to shy away from committing a favourite unit to a fight in case they take casualties. At the end of the day, they're all expendable
