were the 2 squads in rhinos due to points or just trying to get a feel for rhino squads?

Well, I prefer a mix of Rhinos and Razorbacks. The Razorbacks stay back, while the Rhinos advance. This is often inevitable especially in objective based missions.

this interests me, have you found that you dont miss having the extra psybolters on the razorbacks as the guys inside are often out sooner which means more dakka from the psycannons?

Well, yes, the Psybacks contribute well to the GK gun line. However, I found that in objective based games when you need to bring some units forward to the mission objectives, Rhinos will suffice as they will not shoot when moving too fast.

GK list is hard and DE list is weak so the result is not very surprising. I think this game was not interesting for you and your opponent, no ?

Maybe he should have kept his razorwings in reserve.

Or not used them against a mech list

Why didnt those psycanons ever get out of the razorbacks? Seems like wasted pts to just sit there..

The enemy of my enemy is a bastard so lets kill him too.

The DE player really needed to utilize that LOS blocking terrain better.

Well, indeed, the game was uninteresting underpinning the strengths of GK (Psyfleman Dreads, Purifiers) and the weaknesses of DE (paper thin skimmers).

The Purifiers were still in the Razorbacks as it was the bottom of round 2 and I wanted to take down the Razorwings first before exposing them to enemy fire.

Utilizing terrain is key for DE. But Razorwings with their high stands can hardly find over.

That DE list is really quite bad. So many points wasted on heavy support that could do next to nothing and 130 points on HQ's with one of he worst weapons in the codex.

Ooh well, congratulations to the mahreen player.

Thanks. This was one of the fastest battles ever. Next time, we gonna try a Raider spam with lots of dark matter shots.

Why I say to use ravagers with FF over razorwings, warriors with blasters, and liquifiers on 1 haemy and 1 wych squad.

Now not to say I'm not taking anything away from the GK here they handily beat an codex that alot of people have a hard time beating. Plus the GK list looks mean.

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re on a constant Crusade, keeping it real for the Emperor and not bumming around like the other guys. They hate psykers and can’t ally with them. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.

In fact, at this point level one needs to think twice what to include in the army. The GK army is indeed mean as it can handle almost anything via shooting and in cc. The DE list falls too short to battle this GK army. You're right about using a different, more focussed list.

This seriously has to be the worst DE list I've ever seen. Pat yourself on the back for beating the smartest kid with down syndrome.
