Update #52: Pledge Manager bug testing now
Posted about 7 hours ago We're in the final stages of internal testing of our pledge manager, and should be ready to go live either at the end of May or in early June.

This will give you an opportunity to fine tune your pledges, make up for any missing shipping or options and also verify your shipping info. Stay tuned for further announcements!

Sounds like if anyone who missed out on zombiecide might be able to get people with pledges to increase their pledge to include more sets??

I just got my CC bill through, $165 equated to £104. Sorta what i expected but even with all the extras thats quite a bit for a boardgame with unknown quality (especially my own high expectations).

How did the other non-USers fair wih exchange rates?

That doesn't actually sound like a lot, given all the free extras that were included...

The standard game retails for 89$. For 11$ extra on kickstarter you get 39 extra minis including 8 limited edition singles (plus some other gubbins like T-Shirt, 2 sets of dice and a poster). So I think, you have no reason to complain.

and if your a bit daft like me, that's 78 extra miniatures 2 t-shirts, 4 sets of dice, 2 lithographs, and a partridge in a pair tree !!!!

It's not a complaint, £104 for a boardgame is allot. But my point was more on risk in that my expectations are high. If they are met for £104 then cool, but if what turns up is a bunch of 15-20mm soft plastic armymen type scupts £104 looks pretty bad. Since pledges were made upon reputation, a sales vid and a few pictures a little apprehension may be warranted

Paying for an unfinished product always needs an amount of faith, that's why you get the kickstarter bonusses.
But the scans of the 28mm models shown are excellent, so I have no doubt of getting a tremendous deal.

my only hope is that i'll at least be able to get ahold of the Eagle somehow in the future, as i was (sadly) unable to put some money twords this nice game

Left over promo figures will be distributed at Conventions. I expect they'll show up on Ebay shortly after.

I am sad I missed this kickstarter.

Can't wait to pick up the game when it comes out retail though!

HISTORY

Ned knew it. He knew THIS would happen. THIS was THEIR fault. But NOBODY ever listened. Boy are they SORRY now. Ned has been preparing for years: collecting food and weapons, building a bunker, all to survive THIS. Unfortunately for Ned, he’s lost his bunker key, so until he finds it he’s going to need every survival skill he’s got. And probably other people. Crap.

GAMEPLAY
• Do you like tinkering, playing the gunsmith, being the first to get the best weaponry? Then Ned’s the one for you. Thanks to his starting Skill, +1 free Search Action, this “crazy guy” will quickly find the equipment the team needs. He then has the duration of the game to specialize in either Melee or Ranged Combat. Ned is the best in equipment-oriented missions and is often the first to get an advanced weapon.
• Because he gets to search for free all the time, Ned can get good Equipment in just a few turns. He can get a ranged weapon in one hand and a melee in the other to be sure to get a firm experience progression until the Orange level, all the while upgrading his equipment! A first specialization takes place at Orange Level and is completed at Red Level. The player should make sure to pick the Skills best suited to the weapons Ned is carrying. In Ranged Combat, he’s particularly good with a rifle or sniper rifle. The fire axe and chainsaw are his favorites for Melee Combat.
• In a team, Ned is a valuable asset in the beginning and in the end of the game. In the first turns, he’ll get the team quality equipment. A savvy group will give him the flashlight to push this advantage even further! At the end of the game, Ned can find the missing Equipment you may need to complete the objective AND play the tank with the Tough Skill. Ignoring the first Wound taken allows him to go toe-to-toe with the Abomination and lock it down, an impressive feat!
If you think a good worker always has the best tools, just play Ned.

Hmm, regretting not getting on board with Zombiecide, but it did mean that I had the budget for Sedition Wars, so, silver lining and all...

I am looking forward to a game of Dakka Zombiecide at Adepticon.
