I'm confused, are they asking for a Paypal payment all of the sudden now?

edit.

Ah, I see, they're asking for their shipping fees now instead of then.

Sweet, confirmed.

@Brook: You only need to add money with paypal if you want to add extra stuff now, that you hadnt paid for before.

In this case, shipping, which they didn't steal from the card the first time round.

Erm ... no. Shipping is already paid. Only if you want extra stuff not in the original pledge, you pay for these extras.

AND NO, they did NOT charge me for shipping the first time round. I checked. They charged me for the extra gak when the Kickstarter ended, but not the shipping, which I had to pay NOW.

I thought I'd put in the shipping. Guess I was missing $15.

Ok.

I peed on my shoes, and I went back and fixed it.

No worries on this end, now.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Whoa - pump the brakes!

I'm pretty sure this is 'just in case' you want extra extras!

If you live in the USA, and you don't want anything else, you're all set.

If you don't live in the USA, double check to make sure you paid for your shipping.

And if you want extra extras, pay for that now too.

OK?

Indeed, my non-US purchase (plus extras and shipping) were all paid for with my initial pledge amount so I didn't have to pay anything else.

Good to go, now. I just peed myself a little over the prices, and the two different games that I'm funding.

Got it squared away.

Well, they asked everyone to pay the correct postage the first time. Guess your little attempt at cheating was finally detected

that's a vain hope, BrookM. customs has been quite effective at picking out anything large or valuable coming in from outside of the EU. you'll be paying 19% of value (including shipping) + €12,50 ish for 'handling' of customs declarations most likely.

...oh, it is usually the big boxes. small stuff will have a decent chance of getting through. not sure what each wave consists of?
I'm sure the game itself will be taxed, if the extras aren't too conspicuously valuable though, they might slip through.

yeah,
hopefully they are aware of this and mark the promotional items as low value or zero value if they can claim they are 'free' rewards.

My understanding is anything under £18 doesn't get stopped by customs here in the UK??

Panic...

nope mate, fooling the taxman can be done sometimes, but not that easily.
it's just part of the final product and when shipped separately should be priced as a reasonable part of the total value (which is what you actually see on your CC statement).

that kind of thing would make getting away with not paying import taxes just a little *too* easy

This is what I've done as well, but I'd forgotten about the lottery that is the UK customs office. On a side note, they had me living in Nottinghamsh*t in stead of Nottinghamshire, which I suppose isn't to far from the truth and made me chuckle

You've got a weird customs department in the UK.

Here anything valued AUD$1000 or less is fine. It's only above AUD$1000 where we have to start paying import duty.

They are money grubbing jobsworths who seem to be happy letting everyone and their dog slip through the border but anything they can use to make hard cold cash from honest citizens they jump on with both feet [/Daily Mail - except slightly more rational and better worded ]

Okay, so they are from the upcoming Zpocalalypse and not Zombicide, but I backed both kickstarters and the figures should be compatible, so I figured they would be of interest.

Unfortunately, they arent really

Zpocalypse is 35mm, zombicide is 28mm. Zpoc minis would tower zombicide ones

That's about a head's hight difference. I can live with that.

My wife isn't tall enough to see over my shoulder, and my nephew is heads height over me as well.

I'll take some comparison shots when they come out.

i think that with a fatty the hight difference might not matter
