Lots of nice concept art, but way too much baggage to potentially back this one. Going to watch it like a hawk though; the drama will be better than any pledge rewards!

Is it already that time again?

Well....

Think I'm gonna sit on a $10 pledge and ride this one to the end. Only a handful of the concepts really convinced me this may be worth pledging, and I'm not exactly loving all of the Lust Elves concepts - they just seem too over the top...I mean, who thought it'd be a good idea to cut peoples' torsos in half then use them as legs?

Some of the fantasy stuff I might pick up. Everything else, I think I can live without.

At least they have renders this time round, though once again I suspect they'll be changed as the campaign progresses and moves into production.

Pretty much. I'm definitely down for some of the Skinners, but the centaurs seem a little too torture porn-y for my tastes.

I like it. The Sci-Fi Lust Elves give me a great Quake and Doom series feeling.

I'd like some heroes just to paint.

Hopefully they can justify me putting down so much for a Lieutenant pledge, even if it means a 2 or 3 year wait for everything to finally arrive.

Hmm... I was considering maybe pledging to get some cool Sisters analogues, but not really a fan of most of them... the poses seem to be way too much like pin-up minis. Maybe the very basic troops since they're poseable and I kind of like their simpler aesthetic, but I'm gonna hold off on this one for the time being.

What are the All Star figures all about?

You only get 3, they cost more, they look cool... I dunno.

All Stars are probably unique sculpts or the like that don't come as multi-part kits.

It suggests that they are multi-part, at least on the graphic for the sci-fi sisters.

There's more SGs up, taking us to $330k now. So they might last a little longer than the first few dozen did.

One's the fantasy version, the other the sci-fi. But pretty easy to see how backers could get confused given how similar they all are.

I'm tempted by a couple of the heroes.

This or the new deadzone kickstarter choices choices

Why not both?

That's what I'm doing. Although I'm really thinking I'm only going to get a couple heroes out of this the more I contemplate. Replacing my entire SOB army is just too much work.

IF YOU HEAR YOUR DOOR KNOCK DONT ANSWER IT!

It's my girlfriend looking to kill you for giving me ideas!

Maybe id be more tempted to drop just under £7 on a cool dark elf than the rat other on mantics kickstarter at the moment.

How well did the TGG range scale with imperial guard?

A touch taller, but not so bad it looks freakish. For the most part, you can chalk it up to the heels.

So uh, what's the special TGG1 backer mini?

To be honest, nothing really pops out for me. Some cool stuff, but would mostly require me to get a new army and I don't really feel like it. Also, is it me or are they a bit more expensive than last time?

As I understand it, it's your choice of the $10 heroines.

And for those who've not seen them, there's an image of Monsters and Machines has been added to the bottom of the things to unlock. Including the DE Altar for $180.

Here's a quick attempt at cleaning up one of their concept sketches. I obviously haven't done the whole thing, but I think it would be better to do something like this rather than drowning any relevant detail in a mass of lines.

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal
