Yeah, i'd say "body" poses are different, heads etc too.

So getting 1 of each would provide flexibility, etc. only if you want more than 5... if just 5 then yeah, i'd go Command Squad =)

An easy pass. The prices are just as ridiculous as last time, but the concept art's incoherent.

So just doing math:
6 BSS Squads (5 girls, 3 Bolter, 2 Special, 1 Sgt)
3 Dominions (4 Special, 1 Sgt)
3 Retributor Squads (4 Special, 1 Sgt)

Pretty much my max MSU. Works out to 12 bolters, 12 Sgts, 36 Special/Heavies. 60 Girls. 60 Girls is 12 Command Squads, which only gets you 24 Specials, 12 Sgts, 24 Bolters. I figure converting is a thing though...

Yeah, the individual sculpt characters are a bit spendy. The troops are nice and cheap though.

I might pledge for a few of the Sc-fi sisters- if I get the freebies before the new KS ends. I picked up a few quasi-Sisters of Battle from a Ukrainian company, and these look like they will compliment them.

I hope that "Standard" troopers get some special weapons too, otherwise you are correct, "Command"-only would be the way to go.

Thanks! So it looks like Command is Troopers plus Bits, so you can still make what you need just getting command.

They've added more stretch goals and it has only been an hour. Get a grip!

I've stuck myself on a lieutenant pledge again. Despite how poorly the last KS was run the models that came out of it were pretty top notch imo so happy to back this one. Even if it's delayed again it doesn't really bother me, just want the end product to be worth it.

Seems like there won't be much "new" in terms of stretchgoals. "just" the minis they're already showing us.

I do. But if you buy 12 Command Groups (to make your 6 BSS, 3 Dom, 3 Ret) you can still:

BSS 20 - 1 sgt, 2 special, 17 Girls
BSS 5 - 2 Bolter, 1 Sgt, 2 Special
BSS 5 - 4 Bolter, 1 sgt
3 Doms - 12 Special, 3 Sgt
2 Rets - 8 Special, 2 Sgt

You'd have one girl and 4 sgts left over (Celestian)? And that assumes no conversions.

The Void Elves Executrix looks like they might make a good Bladesworn Retinue I wouldn't be embarassed to put on a table, and I'm glad they're already in renders. Have to think about whether they're worth $20 plus shipping to me... and see if any of the shadows make a good Corsair Princess, the ones I can see aren't working for me.

Long story short, you could do a standard SOB army for the Commander box.

What was so...... umm..... *Bad* last time?

Heres the short time line of it all

-Awesome miniature campaign drops and we all pitch in.
-French company is french and seeing all the money there making put up ridiculous stretch goals.
-As with all Kickstartes funds stall out and seeing their SG are not going be reached French company just randomly changes entire campaign proving that everything was gonna be released anyway and that they are just greedy.

Oh wow, this is happening again it seems =P

All of the models (or pretty much "All" ) are locked as stretch goals >.>

"With" the commander box i am guessing. But yeah, you're right. However looking at Denkstrum's Pictures, there might be some differences. (Only going by leg poses)

Just got my KS "freebies" which are nice.........

waiting for retail on these so I can see what the actual minis look like. I already have some of the blood vestals and they are lovely models.

Daughters of the Crucible (the ones being moaned about) don't seem to have a 40K sub do they?

If anything, i'd say the first Project was almost only "Guard Count-as", whereas this one is much more "Our own stuff, with some 40k usage, possibly"

I'm really torn on going through with this. I like the models, but I'd basically have to replace my entire SOB force if I do this. The question I have to ask is whether they are cool enough to want to do that.

Or I could dial down my pledge and get a couple characters that would match and not make me replace everything. That's probably where I will end up. I guess we'll see as the campaign progresses.

Set a reminder for myself to check my pledge right before it closes.

Well, as I figured, much like the previous KS, the heroines do nothing for me. That being said, as before, I love the troop designs. Those fantasy elf troops look really cool. I probably will wind up backing for the Incubi though. Doesn't look like there will be a free shipping option this time around though.

Is it just me, or are they taking models from the models banner and just adding them to the list of Stretch Goals once they are "already unlocked?"

I think they had this planned as follows:
30,000$ to unlock all the stuff marked as "unlocked at funding" there are quite a few of those.

Everything else seems to be a 10,000$ stretchgoal.

The project is truely finished when EVERYTHING got it's 10,000$ sg.
