Nice work! It for some reason dawned on me only now that the scheme for those acolytes is really damn tasty! I can imagine some Hoth-esque ice world IG army using it. Looking forward to your next endeavour

Brown backpack looks awesome Knightley, lots of depth. The Fire Warrior came out great! Those squiggles!!!

It's interesting to see a Fire Warrior with those squiggles all over it! So, seeing as I know nothing about the Inquisition's forces, do they get actual xenos and stuff to work for them, or are most of those models just "counts as" models?

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

That Fire warrior is awesome, grenade, knife and lasgun... looks great. The other two look good as well, in particular I like the backpacks and the drum on the grenade launcher.

@LDP - Noooo! don't paint white, it drives you mental, trust me on this (however, if you follow thy hallowed Duncan Rhodes painting white tutorial do it that way!)

@Wolvy - Cheers, some times the odd spot colour does come into play and in this case it was a brown

@Zerg - Tough to say, I have the image in my head that an inquisitor will do what ever it takes to get the job done, even if that involves some xenos being his meat shields. the 40k wiki does say that most acolytes are human, however they do employ jokaero who are clearly techno-savant monkeys, so have at it I say!

@Mad - Thanks for the comments dude, I like hearing what people like on models.

Update: smashed out some more henchmen tonight, washes, then whites, then blacks all done

Is there a fluff reason why your inquisitors use Tau? Or did you just have a bunch of bits?

That model in the middle looks so cool, all robed up with a giant sword

The female model has a nice dynamic pose as well.

Really digging the different models that are coming through in these henchman groups.

@Waaazag - The loose fluff is my mates Tau force got split and rather than knock them off the silver tounged inquisitors 'convinced' them this was the next thing to the greater good.

@Mad - Cheers dude. There are a bunch of weird and wonderfull models I wanted in the mix. These three are a prime example.

Update: almost done these guys

I do too... I think two toning his man skirt would make it pop and jive better though. It would give it that proper Romanesque feel. Love the second one too, that model is just ridiculously cool. You know what ima say about the Tau... More bits bashing! The helmet on his base is that extra touch and completes the model. Love it brother.

Yet more great models to add to your Inquisition force, Knightley! Must be easy for you since each model is different. That difference is what makes the army so cool!

I think the middle guy is the one of the proper =I box when you could buy an inquisitor and henchmen models that came in the box, I think it was called a Penitent.

More excellent from Papa Squiggle
