Not sure how many people have read it. I recently started it and am about a quarter of the way through the first portion of it. I've tried multiple times to read this book and never made it but I'm bound and determined now! Anyway, Have you guys ever seen a HUGE count of grey knights. I've been wondering about the force they used on the first planet mentioned in the book (they dropped in 300 of them) I'd LOVE to have a force like that. What's the biggest collection of grey knights you've seen =) I'm in love with them even if they weren't a decent army I think I'd be playing them XD I love the inquisitors too =D so overall I could ask what's the biggest grey knights force you've seen =)

Uhh, in person? About 20 Paladins and a couple Dreadnoughts.

lol I'm wondering how long it would take to get the three hundred guys together. I know some grand masters were there and all kinds of stuff...I may have to work towards it...

If I remember correctly, the part you're talking about involved three separate brotherhoods and four grand masters, Mandulis (don't remember the guy's name) included.

I'd figure you'd have to figure out a brotherhood's makeup and strength, sort of like a SM company and build from there. I don't think the book was very accurate in describing the brotherhood's makeup. In fact, the only thing I remember was that they pointed out that everyone was in terminator armor and was still getting rocked.

lol I just know they said they had 300 grey knights on planet and yep mandullis was the only one to put the prince with 1k faces down. I just think that would be to cool to have that entire force =) apocolypse would be to cool XD have a daemons army recreate the planet of daemons (just a ton of daemons)

I've read that omnibus, and I felt like his writing got quite a bit better in the next two books in it. So get through it!

Ah man, that's AWESOME to hear! I love these guys already. Mind wiping and erasing memories so they're extra crazy =) gonna be AWESOME =D just wanted to see a HUGE force of them on the table top something close to what the book says, 300 strong force would be SCAREYYYY

It might have been in the previous codex...
These days it's fairly easy to have large numbers of them...

I've seen guys with companies working on chapters....wonder how long that would take XD

I've got about 60 PAGK(mostly metal) and about 25 terminators(15 metal) not including characters(Crowe, Thawn, Stern, Grandmaster, and Librarian)

Then I have a couple of Dreadnoughts, 3 Rhinos, a techmarine, Vindicare, and 2 Stormravens.

So about a full brotherhood.

I have 45 PAGK 25 termies crowe draigo a land raider 5 razorbacks 2 inquisitors 3 acolytes =) I wanted to get as many of the grey knights together as I can to make a HUGE force. =D
I hope it does! I've tried reading it sooo many times and I just keep going back to other books D= but now! NOW! I'm bound and determined =D

Out of the three, the only one I didn't really get into was the second one. Way too Rambo for me. Had some cool parts, especially the allies Alaric works with...but overall? Meh.

Oh man - i felt the opposite. I liked the first one and thought the rest went downhill fast.

I'm really enjoying it so far moved to probably halfway through. Alaric seems like he's got a lot going on internally (more than a grey knight should) and that'll be cool to watch through out. Don't ruin it for me! BUT I'd like to see him end up like ragnar did and become some sort of leader within the grey knights =)

I am enjoying "Tales from a Dark Millennium" at the moment, sounds like I'd enjoy the Omnibus too. I hope they put it out as an E-book.

My first squad of 5 Interceptors and an Ordo Mallus Inquisitor (Kitbash and Green stuff on a SM Captain).

Soon to be joined by 2 Strike Squads of 5, 5 Termie/Paladins, 9 Death cult assassins (modded Dark Eldar Kabalites ), 8 Psykers (Modded High Elves) , Vindicar Assassin (modded Eldar Guardians) , 2 Mystics (Non GW models), a Librarian (modded Captain Stern), another Ordo Malleus Inquisitor in Carapace armour (modded IG Commander) and an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor with a Condemner Boltgun(Modded Dark Eldar Kabalite), all in the mail as we speak !

I'll add an Ordo Xenos with a Conversion Beamer at some stage but I still haven't quite worked that one out yet, maybe Lhamaean.

Nice conversion! I just got 10 of my metal PAGK together tonight and I have another 20 tbp =) and then 10 on their sprue XD

I would love to see just a HUGE amount of them with the inquisition mixed in. I want to try a henchman list along with my purifiers and draigowing at some point but the assassins are all kinds of expensive =[

Kit bash ! there are plenty of models around you can modd into some tasty looking assassins

lol I got some warrior acolytes and a preacher a vindicare and some other things in some trades and through purchases I'm just not sure how the whole henchman thing works yet. XD

I love the idea especially after reading this omnibus with the arbites police and all the resources the inquisitors have at their disposal. I just dunno where to even begin with that yet XD
