Well ok not really as the topic reads but I do have a question about Kharn and Gorechild. Gorechild is a primearchs weapon, if lex is write and it has an ax head that is three spans long, how in the ever loving world is Kharn able to weild it in a single hand. I mean most of the other primes weapons are described as being large in a normal marines hands (other then the Spear of Russ). Plus, I hope for a better answer then Kharn and Khorne are great bed fellows lol.

Gorefather is Angron's weapon, not Gorechild. Gorechild is smaller (although its still pretty massive), but perfectly managable for a 9ft tall blood drunk superhuman

maybe gorefather (the other one) is alot bigger, and gorechild is the smaller one, hence father/son

Kharn built Gorechild for himself.
Don't let the Abnett-verse cloud your mind with its attempted retcons.
Also, a "span" is the width of a human hand.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

He is the avatar of Khorne, so I'm pretty sure he is a lot stronger than even other space marines. As the arm he uses to wield it does not benefit from the added strength from power armor, as it haves none.

Angron has two axes : Gorefather and Gorechild -- he uses them both to great effect in "Butcher's Nails".
Presumably the latter is gifted ( or taken..? ) at a later date.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all

All of the other sites I've checked all say that Angron originally wielded child and father also none have stated that Kharn crafted gorechild.

I have to agree, for one I like Abnetts version of 40k and 2. At lest he is consistent.

I like that Angron gifted it to Kharn, one of the few things I enjoyed in the fluff.
Kharn is just that strong though mostly.
