Hi guys, sry for the lack of updating but you all know, busy times. Anyway Iäve started to paint again and I'm working on mentor frezer for karman from at-43. I will post some wips tomorrow. And Yggdrasil I dont know if you seen the sqouts I made but I have put the pictures in my portfilio.

I managed to take some cheap shot right now. I wanted to show the armour and the cloth and belt. And the base.

Can't tell much about the cloth or the belt but the armor looks pretty sweet, it reminds me of Boba Fett somehow!

Ok thanks! I´ve made some new models. The first one is a new Lord model and the three others are of course my chaos "scouts", one heavy with missile launcher.

The new lord is looking amazing, that sword looks great on him. The bionic arm with severed head is cool. Cannot wait to see him painted.

The chaos scouts are nice. Really like the one with the catachan medic's head and zombie arms.

Agreed with PDH : the first one looks really creepy ! I definitely love that head !

Was removing the aquilas hard ? I have thought of that for my regular Scouts, but so that they could strap more gear on their chest plate...
Do you plan on adding something to their bland chestplates?

No it was easy, you just need model knife and a fine rasp.

Hi again guys, long time no see. Like it's been before the school's taking most of my time but I still managed to painted some new marines and I also started to paint my close combat dreadnought who I have namned H.O.S.M (Hound Of Shrieking Metal). I hope you like 'em.

Nice dreadhound. Love the colour you've got into your metal. It is always nice when I've noticed you've updated your work station...sometimes it takes a few days mind.

BTW you know Shockwave in real life is he ever coming back to us so we can drool at more of his Norks and Scavvies again?

Great work as usual! I do get the impression that the marine reaching behind his back is scratching his ass though, but that might just be me ! I love the weathering on the H.O.S.M. however!

PHD - I don't mean to meddle, but I'd say that the chances of seeing any more norks from Shockwave are slim since he "quit playing GW-games" a couple of months ago and sold all his orc's (except those already converted into norks). As for the scavvies I'd say there are more of a hope, though they didn't seem to be his top priority last time we spoke... But then I haven't met him since like august...

Yeah I'm sorry to say it but it is like C0un7 mentioned, Shockwave doesn't play GW games anymore, but I think he still have his norks at home.

The H.O.S.M is finished but my painting/photolamp is broken so I have to buy a new lamp but i'm going to try to get a pic on him very soon.

Im not totally gone PDH, i still lurk here and its nice to see that i am missed, it warms me modelling heart i can also tell you that ill be continuing my norks, i just got a new spark of inspiration to finnish the army!

Shockwave - You're back/posting Glad you've got the inspiration to finish the norks . What made you give up on GW?

The hound looks lovely - in a banged up, dirty kind of way obviously.

I really love looking at your chipped armour effects.

The marine is holding a grenade in his hand, but I can agree that it looks like he's scratches himself.
Now I don't know what to paint so I think I'm just going to continue with some regular marines.

PDH: the thing that made me quit GW is first and foremost the bad rules for their systems and the lack of balance in their games, but also the greedy approach GW has taken with the price raises (right now it feels like you have to be a millionaire to be able to play 40k or fantasy) and the allaround low quality of the failcast minis, im not about to spend more money on a crappier product.

But luckily we found the vortex game system and that plus some of the movies ive watched lately gave me some motivation and inspiration to complete my norks and maybe even expand the army to 1500 pts

ill be updating my blog tonight with some plans and thoughts so i dont have to hijack Q0rbins thread anymore XD
