@D Stein - Thanks! That first one was a great learning tool!

I have been thinking of this for a while. Not sure how to do it. I obviously don't want to copy GW, beside I don't think thier design would allow boobs to be appreciated.
Maybe something similar to this?

Any suggestions?

Jake, I can't get to these links from work, but if you do a Google Images search for "Space Marine video game female guardsman" THis is how they made the boobs work with the standard Cadian breastplate.
in that game.

It still isn't flattering, and it looks like it would be uncomfortable, but I'm a guy, what do I know

Thanks stein! I hadn't seen that before. Yeah, still not flattering, but it can be done. I stand corrected.

But that still doesn't give me any new ideas, I don't want to use thier design, and I want it to look somewhat realistic for today's modern military. I'm still looking into it.

@Capitansolstice - We didn't weigh it, but I'd say around 100 pounds, but that's after the hide and head were removed. It was a bugger to get it inside the house by myself. It was a buck. And it was a 4x4, don't know the "score" never kept score before. I just like killing and eating it. Last year I shot 3 deer, a buck and 2 doe (I had tags for all of them), and every shot was in the backstrap! so this year, I decided I was going to do something different. I aimed for the head. And it was only a 220 yeard shot, so I figured it would work. It did. Right below the eye. After a minute of flopping around, he stood back up! WTF? so I was about 100 yards closer to him at this point, so I shot again. Being 100 yards closer, my aim was too high, and guess where I shot it? The freaking backstrap! Arrrggghhh! But at least he didn't get up or move much at all after that.

@ Dstein - I like it! I might add a few extra pads in strageic places, but cutting it off at the midriff makes it look more feminine. Thanks!

My GF thanks you for considering the realism and not giving her something unrealistic.

No problem! We wouldn't want anything but realism in 40K right?

(Hmmmmm, I wonder if I can add rivets to the body armor?)

yeah, that crossed my mind too.

@tdjarvis302 - Thanks! OT - Yeah, I'll try harder next time to get a cleaner shot, but I have not yet had to track my kills more than 10 feet. They just don't seem to want to move far when you shoot thier spine! I still got a good bit of meat off the backstrap, but I did mess up more then I wanted to.

@M0rdain - I actually drew up a concept that looked very similar to that! I might go that way for the troops in carapace armor, or Storm Toopers. I don't even know what they are called for sure. I have not completely familiarized myself with the codex...I might want to do that if I am going to build up an army of them, huh?

Thanks guys! Not much to update today, but soon I hope.

@Capitansolstice - Thanks. He had been hanging in my tree for 3 weeks before I cut him up...he was delicious! I have a tradition to make a steak sandwich halfway through the butchering. Cut the meat really thin, sautee it with onions and peppers, cover it with way too much cheese and rest it on a toasted french roll. Heaven! And then we had Buck Burgers last night. Yummy! Not as good and the steak sammich, but good.

@ vik - I plan on adding some kind of breast plate on top of the "sports bra", with some straps and such to make it look more 40k. I think it will work.

Maybe for characters, but for rank and file soldiers, I'm going more plain and functional.

Here is a rough concept of what I am thinking of. Plain uniform (BDU's if you will), with armor that can be strapped on.

Thanks! And yep, already in the works! I'm planning to add them to next set of soldier legs, and I have already gone back to the original legs, and trimmed off part of the pants so I can add knee pads.

I've been busy on Commissar #2, but I keep forgetting to download the pictures. And I am at work today, so I'll get them this weekend.

Hope everyone that had one, had a great Thanksgiving!

Yes, I plan to. For the soldiers, I plan to cast a bunch of copies, but mostly for myself. i suppose I can sell some if there is an intrest.

I also have other projects in the works. A quite large range of fantasy figures. Also, I want to sculpt zombies! I just love zombies, and I have some interesting ideas for them, so we'll see.
