Those rivets look really cool and will be perfect once you have them in place and filed down a bit.
I'm going hunting for something to make rivets with this weekend, even if it winds up cutting being just cutting rod w/ my X-acto knife. I really need that "finishing" look before I consider any of my buildings or towers "done".

THAT is awesome. I'm finally connecting w/ it. I thought the strainer was too out of scale and just never dug on the granny grates but with some other bits around it I am seeing the value of the application and once you have some paint on it to darken the glare and get some industrial weathering on it.
Nice rivets.

Awesome! The bolts and washers look sweet! You did a really good job of keeping the nuts symetrical. Mine rarely are, but mine are for Orks, and I figure they make thier own, so they would be a bit wonky.
I like the drain cleaner. And the bolts on that make it look great. I'm so happy one of my ideas made it onto someone elses stuff! 
And the pointy nuts look good too! A great way to break up the top edge! 
P.S. - Hehehehe...pointy nuts.

Hey, whatever works, it looks great!
I just saw the strainer on the bottom!
And have you thought of putting a hatch of some sort on the drain cleaner? You might need a place to access that area when a noob gets his head stuck.

Did you use that weird "bonding" spray paint or just hit it w/ your regular spary?
Also I have to mention that most of your photos seem like they have conspicuous "product placement" ads. Do you get manufacturer kickbacks for posting on Dakka?

ok the strainer i am too sold about now... not that it would count a lot in those lands it seesm... i spent a high noon in the RL an what does it teach me? i miss out on so many hillraious and sweet action....by the way... i don´t eat rivets for breakfast... i eat them for snacks...hole crowbars when i feel a tad more hungry...
and my dog if i had one would eat them too:
and while chewing my favorite meal...i listen to:
the tower is looking very cool! the strainer with the added card and then the lovly washer bolts mix looks so coool... i had to snigger of course about the pointy nuts too but the addening of those bitz is quite a nice idea and adds to a certain grimm darkness of gothic look!
by the way dstein... the pic of the mass of rivets wasn´t your real B-Day present... i am currently working on a devotionla figure for you.... surprise surprise^^
oh and storag... when did you used to live in berlin? and when was this wonderland of a fine tuned mechanism??? sounds like about 30 years ago^^
