I've seen it done, but cant find any good examples other then the calgar raider from the codex.

Looks like i'm gonna have to get some bits together and make sure I order a Landraider from your mate before you send the Tre .... brothers lol :-)

I am pretty sure that Th Ultramarines Landraider, the arches were made from plasticard and the battle images were scanned copies painted up, can't remember how the text was done though.... They did a step by ste p of what they did in a WD back in the mists of time.
Possibly in or around the WD from when the LR was released.

I might actually have the LR WD issue :-) I'll go rummage around. what's the general opinion though? should I attempt something a bit ott for him? considering how many points it'll be in total for a squad and transport! (help me out here Whaley lol)

The brothers should be here in the next day or two. I do have some Land Raiders in stock though, I can order a replacement later.

They look amazing Nerdy... Would like to see them photographed against a white or grey background. While the black is dramatic... we lose a lot of detail in the process.

Some of the images don't seem to work when you click through to the item, but if you click the magnifying glass to make picture go bigger, the pics then work fine.

He sells and makes allsorts of that kinda thing and some of his work is probably very close to what you are talking about.

Also was going to say, check out inmygraven's tanks they are arch as arch can be.

No problems Brother! I'll find an old cloak and do a tute, I need to practice the effect more so it'll be helpful, I think red would be easier to do!

Amazing countryside, too. Completely not what I expected around Tasmania... Like Madagascar, its just one of those places I've always thought of as being wild and no roads/civilization xD

Condors eh!? we have nothing that exciting down here, just Tassie Devils and Tassie Tigers and as far as aviarian creatures go we only get a Wedge tailed Eagle with a 6.8ft wingspan *sigh* we need to do some work there...

You have one yourself Cam? do you have the twin turbo six like me or the V8 version? and you're not wrong about the power delivery, it's so damn smooth you don't even know when you've cracked 200! and you're not even at the end of your street! no abundance of sheep where i'm at dude, but I did try to get a shot of the herd of cows who were in the opposite paddock behind me!

Thanks Dantay! the reason I took the shots is i'm selling her but I still enjoy looking at her, I have an offer of a car swap, and in a couple of weeks maybe sooner i'll have a new toy to waste my money on! another turbo wagon just a four banger this time. Now about your faces (FACES) I think you've done a bloody good job man! I can see where on a couple you've reached your limit of focus but that happens when painting that small and delicate for a while, usually 3-4 is enough in a sitting for me as the concentration is intense, don't forget you can go back over the middle of the face again with agrax or fleshshade, just from the eyes to shadow them more and to bring the creases out on the cheeks and jaw, you just use a damp brush to remove excess from where you don't want it, i'm also considering doing Skype days where we can go through anything as i'm hopeless at getting a good shot recently
