He was kidding when he said that... I would just like to hear more from people. It seems to me that you are making alot of accusations based off a small amount of evidence. A change in play style is not nessicary a bad thing for example..

I really think the people voting for Vulkan need to explain their selves, rather than just hounding him on a point which seems flimsy given the situation. He's either incredibly clever, or he's pulling a Shas'O (hey dude, in dying you had a metaphor named after you ).

I am hoping the quiet people will get time to talk, but there seems to be a lot of IRL stuff going around.

For the first day phase of this game, the other game was going on. I couldn't very well act radically different in this game than I did in the last.

A sudden shift in playstyle is highly indicative of something changing. Something like status as pro or anti town.

So in the meantime, we should keep the chatter going.

Looking back through Day 2 we have the following statements made by the following people:

Scarper -> EF/LL/Rusty
BishopGore -> LL/Rusty/Arheiner
Arheiner -> LL (Vulkan)
Rusty -> Arheiner/EF/LL (the_ferrett/Vulkan/LL)
Lord-Loss -> Bishop/Rusty (Arheiner/Avantgarde/Scarper)
Emperors Faithful -> (LL)
the_ferrett -> Vulkan
Vulkan -> (LL)

Those outside of the parantheses have had declarations of suspicion, those inside parantheses have had declarations of slight suspicion.

It seems that today most who've made declarations of suspicion have had their nose turned towards Lord-Loss at least a little. I've already had fingers pointed at me because people think I'm pushing for Lord-Loss to be lynched, and yes, I am. I have a strong feeling that he is Dark Kin, I know I could be wrong, but it just seems to fit in my mind (for the many reasons already stated). He has a good defence though and I want everyone to make up their own minds and not be pushed.

One thing I find odd is that almost nobody finds me suspicious... I may have missed some people saying they thought I was, but I wonder if that is normal? Do loud, sensible (insofar as people seem to think I make sense!) people often get less suspicion?

I'm not suspicious of you at the moment because you too are voting for LL. Voting for him right now if both of you are Dark Kin doesn't really make any sense. Of course, if he is lynched today and he's innocent, we both look really, really bad. Like one of us will be lynched bad. Of course, if he is Dark Kin, being the vocal for his lynching could make for a great defence for a Dark Kin.

LL has expressed his suspicion of you, but he seems rather quick to express suspicion of those that like him as a Dark Kin (you accuse him, he accuses you, I accuse him, he accuses both of us).

I think it's kind of dumb to not be suspicious of someone simply because they happen to have chosen the same target as you at that moment.

I've said a few times that you have appeared suspicious Bishop, during the first day you seemed all too eager to lynch LL even suggesting that others should join in with you. However that is not enough and that day phase was about using votes to gain more information from people.

I only looked back through the comments of Day 2, I know a lot of people didn't like what I said on Day 1.

I'm asking lots of questions in the hopes of veterans helping me understand the game better. The more I understand the better I feel I could potentially run one of these games.

I agree with you n0t_u that you shouldn't view the enemy of your enemy as your friend. I wouldn't expect people to trust me just because LL turned out to be Dark Kin.

And yes, I admit I'm eager to lynch LL, but I'm not doing so without a fairly solid Prosecution. Part of this game is surely about convincing others that a certain person should be lynched and then dealing with whatever consequences there may be. I believe he is one of the killers and I am willing to put my own life on the line to argue the case. I may be wrong, in which case I'm sure people will turn on me, but I think I'm right, which means I'm willing to stand up for this.

Am I wrong to do so?

Rushing for a lynch isn't really a bad thing, it just raises people's suspicion in you more as it seems like you have a good idea what that person you're going for is.

Generally they'd assume you were a Dark Kin if you tried to rush too much, or even think too differently, but I think you're at an alright pace right now. Not rushing around saying "Everyone vote for such and such because of this" but rather, "such and such I think that this and that makes you look pretty suspicious explain yourself or prepare to visit the gallows".

The way I see it is that everyone is an enemy until they have proven they are not, some have done so more than others yet those same few are just as likely to turn out to be the very enemy you had been hunting for. There is only one way to prove for certain that one is innocent in this, death. The ones that are too zealous in this, to me, seem like they're after an innocent kill in this way as it is easy to follow the loud guy at the front of the angry mob leading them towards who he thinks is guilty, but it is seldom thought of to question why it is we must follow him. Yet neither can prove if someone is guilty or not.

Bishop, if you can list all the things that you find suspicous of me, so I can try and explain my behaviour... I admit I've changed my playstyle, I've got less time then I had during Day One, there is no-one I find uber-suspicous and I don't want another Shas.

This vote with Vulkan really isn't getting anywhere. I don'nt know if he's purposefully avoiding answering any questions, or if he really doesn't have much interest in the game and can't be bothered.

This is sure to cuase a lot of chatter, but IMO that's always a good thing.

Unvote: Vulkan

With the silence (relative) from both significantly suspicious parties, all I can do is sit where I am. I do this because I am sure that an unvote would be just as detrimental to us as a vote would be.

EF I thought I answered your question

Vulkan, this is the first time you've addressed me. At all. Ever. For the most part you've simply said:

"I find such-and-such suspicious....becuase I've got a feeling...that tonight's gonna be a good ni-" (The last bit was a joke)

Even though Rusty finds me suspicious, I still value him as a player for 2 reasons.

1) His thoughts are logical, well thought through and plain for all to understand. He's making his reasons for his suspicions very clear for everyone which is perfect for us pro-towners. We need to know where others stand.

2) He addresses others and posts often enough to make his presence more than just known. I like him becuase he builds a case, he doesn't just accuse someone and drop a vote, he says why and encourages conversation. His approach is helpful.

Yuck, my mouth tastes funny with all that ass-kissing. (Unintentional, I assure you Rusty.)

As for that question, Vulkan.
It's not a single question that you can really answer. I am asking you to come to account for your wierd/scummy/sneaky/thingy behaviour.

Also, why did you respond only after I dropped my vote?

Vulkan by about 0.001%, Problem is they've both kept quiet enough this day due to logical reasons. Real life. Unfortunately due to gut and consequence I'm stuck here until someone can relieve me. (Thanks EF for locking me in )

Hey guys - just sent Drk_O a PM to say I'm pulling out. I'm really sorry, but I've got some medical stuff going on, and I just can't give you all the time this needs and deserves. Hopefully Drk_O can dig up a replacement pretty quickly, and good luck finding the dark kin!

It's been fun, and cheers for letting me play

Wow, someone withdraws and we all go silent with 2 days left (51hrs). That sounds like a tactical victory for the enemy.

This is a really sucky situation. We need to work together here, whilst I feel we're totally divided, either by the actions of Dark Kin or through our own suspicions and paranoia.

I don't know what I can do here to prevent the upcoming lynch. Whether it's being busy in RL, apathy or structured confusion sown by the Dark Kin.

@Lord-Loss.
I'm not going back through 19 pages of waffle looking for further prosecution against you. I've given a structured set of reasons for my belief you are Dark Kin, you have given your defence (though I feel it was inadequate or I would not still be targeting you). If I am wrong then I will be punished by the group, as the loudest to call for your lynch, but since I doubt you'll be taken down today and I reckon I will go tonight, this is all moot.

My vote is cast and I shall not budge. I just hope people will realise that Vulkan is a less likely candidate than Lord-Loss is.

OOC: Hope you're ok Scarper. Thoughts are with you, hopefully we'll catch up again soon on another thread

Bishop, you havn't provided any set of reason's why you find me suspicous during Day Two, you have only commented on Rusty's. Is all your evidence from Day One by the way?

@Bishop: Actually, Rusty is the one who has been accusing LL most vocally. (And me, and Arheiner I think)

We really need to get talking.

I'll just restate my posistion. I was voting for Vulkan becuase he gave me bad vibes since Day One and acted fairly suspiciously and avoided my questions. However, Bishop pointed out that his behaviour was just like Shas'os (even before Shas was lynched) so it's not really that in kin with a Dark Eldar's behaviour.

And now that Lord Loss has been confronted by the Rusty and Bishop tag-team (jk) he seems to be floundering a little. I don't want to vote however becuase that would just make me look bad if Bishop and Rusty were wrong. I'd prefer more dialouge before making a decision.

BTW, Bishop, I meant that Rusty has been accusing Arheiner and I. Not that Arheiner and I were accusing LL more than you.

Sorry about the lack of posts in the last few days, been relatively busy.

@EF- I wouldn't be worried about looking bad if LL is innocent. Bishop and myself have been much more vocal in going after him; we'll be the ones that get looked at strange if he's innocent.
