Update: Started on the lower let plates, I think I should have the red go further down and not stop to abruptly

I dunno, I think it's ok, there's a logical "line" there that they follow. Very impressed how smooth the white is at that scale.

@Graven - Thanks, I think so as well, I ended up following the line down. Took 3 coats of white to get a nice white base though

Update: finished up some of the base colours, made the red go all the way down

@Alaricuk - Totally worth it as a project, my advice would be plan, plan, test fit, re-adjust the plan, test fit, come up with a new plan, sod the plan and just wing it

@Brushcommando - Hahha very true, I would need to get my medical practitioners licence to finish the head off
@Cam - Merry Xmas Cam, hope your day goes well! I wouldn't say its a great pace, I've seen many painters chew through much more than I could do.
@Dysartes - I hope to get it all done by the end of January (its summer here in NZ so I expect more time out of the house for the next month)
