Update: On to model number two, this one is a half elf Sorcerer, I got a few guidelines from my friend, She wanted white hair with a slight silver sheen, the character is low born, so wouldn't have a lot of fancy clothes and has blue eyes.

A sorceress armed with a crossbow and knives... that is a cool looking model.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with the hair in particular on this model.

Update: washes applied, I went a bit overboard on the hair, its going to require some fixing I feel

@Gits - Agreed! every time I touch this model I get a feeling it could break at any point, I think its due to a single contact point with a thin ankle.

Update: painted a necklace as it wasn't an option when creating the mini, did some first stage stuff on the hair and a first layer on the pants

Update: bunch of stuff done, gave the hair a silver wash (really watered down bright silver) and some skin

@WarbossDakka - Thats what I was going for, basic colors and nothing over the top (of course the ice ball is complex by comparison)

@Casey - they are basically the same size, maybe a tad bit taller.

I really like that Sorceress, model looks great and you have done it good justice, the hair is nicely done and the blue you have used for the eyes is really catching... great work!

Purifiers with banners... looking forward to seeing what you do on those!

@PossumCraft - Welcome to the blog! The necklace is free hand, my mate wanted to sculpt something but didn't rate the skills required, I said I'd just paint it on and they are very happy with the look.

@Gits - Well then, thats it settled, however the offer still stands on the next non-marine model.

Update: blocking in more colours, forgot how much detail is on these guys, its going to take a while!

Curious choice going with banners on every guy, should be interesting when they are all done. I assume that is where the majority of the squiggles are going on these? Also, that sorceress you did earlier is very well done!

Excellent job on the D&D mini, looks very clean! To echo everyone else's statements, the banners are a really cool choice and I can't wait to see them squiggled up!

Update: Was at a conference yesterday and was to tired to paint once I got home, so nothing from yesterday, today however, you get some more painting! Pretty much finished the base colours, onto washes next!
