It sounds like you're rushing it. With GS, you have to break the sculpting into manageable parts so you don't continuously ruin your previous work. For example, if you remember my second Vendetta pilot, I had to sculpt the goggles first, wait for them to cure, then sculpt the moustache. Otherwise, I'm sure I would have fethed up the goggles I worked so hard on.
In other news, great progress on your walker! I love the application of all the gears and pistons 
When you're done, we're going to have to but your steam walker and Vik's steam walker in a jar, shake it up, and watch them fight!

ok mate... that current update is very good looking! with all the nice features like the boiler (clever idea to use a base for the mainplate!!! btw!) and all other feats like the excellent pistons... one might overlook some very neat and rather brilliant details... the levers are mounted on what looks like halfdiscs...THAT! my friend shows how much you think about a project! i really like that small detail that shows your true observation skills! also the small springs under the seat/compartment platform!...
by the way... will you build a canopy? maybe it wont be needed... but the plush seat i think will add lots of nice detail for your creation!
this will be quite huge i think... it will certainly dwarf the average sentinel walker...have you yet decided if this will be a quadruped or biped?
i am really looking forward to all the other small details that will be coming next...
truly...steampunk is something one has to have a very strong mind to refuse...and a serious bad taste^^

I haven't planned anything actually, I'm just making this up as I go. Actually, it isn't much bigger than a Sentinel, I am modelling the legs after a sentinel's legs.

well dave... seeing it next to the sentinel i still feel i am in the right to say that it looks and will get bigger than the sentinel... but i think then that will be totally allright! as steamnpunk isnt known for its frail looking vehicles... sure posh and delicate details all over...but look at the eifel tower... now that isn´t exactly some frail structure now is it?^^
and jake...that was exactly in my mind... some seat like that! or even more like that here..leather is also one of steampunks hallmarks...

oh man...what else comes next...i am really sorry to hear that... i think it is because of that, that our household has no pets /animal friends... even the smallest pets i had in childhood when they passed left big gaps in our soul... even tho they can bring so much joy i want to spare my kids that hurt...
am i in the wrong for thinking that way?
i hope you and lauri can cope with this in these troubled times of yours...(and i know that will be hard!) keep well mates!

14 years...? that is crushing... may i ask what was her name? and what kind of dog? that is truly a long time relationship...i really don´t want to trade places with you...
as for the living forever part... i guess we just shift into that kind of train of thought... death is always so alien to our way of being that we try to keep it away as much as possible...even to the extent to totally forget about it at all...
i had lived my life as a sigle man without any fears...now with a family my life has so many fears of loss... the more we gain the more we fear to loose... well they say you have to be thankful for the good times been given to you...but really sometimes that is quite hard to believe...i think i am a rather worse shoulder to cry on...
