well...she looks like a dog that one could easily fall in love with...with dogs a tiny bit of lopsided charcter just adds to the personality...

im sorry for you lose dave, even though the only pet i ever lost i only had for 2 years, it was still really hard to lose him, and its hard to this day

I am so sorry to hear of your loss Dave and can only offer my deepest condolences, I always say pets are the family you choose and therefore hurt the most when they are gone.

However you always have the memories and the joy she brought and will continue to bring, although the thought of loosing mine is unbearable even to imagine, the joy they bring is irreplaceable.

What do you think of the shape of the cab? I thought It would resemble a miniature locomotive cab, but open-topped, to showcase all the crazy controls.

I thought of a cow-catcher on the front for the look, but didn't know if it would make sense. I do want to keep it as compact as possible, built for speed, rather than pulling loads.

Yes, thats why I kept quite about it I cant see it working on the front to well, especially if it is going to be a walker a plough in the air

You could make a small road vehicle to accompany it with the cow catcher on the front

hmmmm..>I've been thinking since the boiler will make it front-heavy that the toes would have to be longer (like the AT-ST) - Cow catchers on the feet just might work!! Great idea- we will have to test this look though...see if it looks right in proportion.
