me, i ike the lasgun...what better bragging rights then in the entire universe can you say when you kill an ENTIRE squad of assult terminators with a simple lasgun volly from 5 realy scared gardsmen and one awasome vetran sargent...NONE I TELL U!!!

but in terms of power...yah,even a guardsmen helmet packs more punch.

Actually, it packs exactly the same amount of punch.

Lasgun=strength 3

Guardsmen Headbutt=strength 3

im the mid of battle i'd take a lasgun shot to the chest no prob, just tell me so i can remove my shirt so it bounces off better.

But in battle if i see a guardsman about to headbutt me id back up a sec and try to avoid it.

I don't think you put very much thought into this poll at all, and frankly I think that "the ability to read" must be too strong for you to grasp, seeing as how you are apparently unable to do a little research on the power of a lasgun before setting up this poll.

hmm, in all seriousness if you were to actualy guess the power of a las gun it would proably rank less than the power of a modern bullet simply because its just a bolt of amped up energy that can slightly pucture skin to cause a light flesh wound and some serious skin burn. i would rate the power of a las-beam to the power of a 3-inch blade being stabed into someone.thats per beam so it would explain how it could possibly even have a chance of killing tough things(enough 3-inch little wounds eventualy do kill orks, tyranids, and space marines!)

I like how in every book with lasguns, sometimes 9liek when main characters are shot at) it is a "lancing pain" or a "cauterised burn scar"....

but when a red-shirt eats it?

"his head explodes in a pink mist"

Maybe the lasgun should have rules so that it can only really hurt non IC characters, or sergeants
