Well, I've always had a soft spot for teen titans. Also, some that Ghibli Studios work is FANTASTIC! (Princess Mononoke, made me cry...sniffle)

Well gonna list a few of my favourite animes (mostly all I've watched so far though): Code Geass, Naruto, Full metal Alchemist, and am currently waiting for episode 9 of negima!? to load up to watch. If you couldn't tell, I'm an anime fan.

Trigun has to be my all time favourite anime, i engaged with the characters so well even thought the anime holds nowt to the manga its still an awesome series, any excuse I get to dress up as Wolfwood is used now, beach party....yeh i'll be going as wolfwood then.

Gundam Wing, the series the made me love anime, I can't stress how much I like mechs and the designs in Wing are fantastic better than pretty much the rest of the Gundam series, top this off with well written characters (Heero, Trowa, Zechs and Tres spring to mind) and a well paced plot you can see why I love it so much.

For many reasons mainly nostalgia and my my love of mechs I love G1 Transformers, far too much some people would say.

Cowboy Bebop nothing I can say about this that hasnt been said before its simply fantastic.

I can.

I would have picked Grave of the Fireflies for biggest anime tearjerker.

On to the list I guess:

Ranma 1/2 - Liked the characters, funny
Golden Boy - funny and wrong at the same time
Tenchi Muyo (original series, not much for the 5 million series afterward) - liked the characters. I have a giant stuffed Ryo-Ohki
Tom & Jerry 39-45 - The early years are some of the funniest cartoons ever made.
Fairly Oddparents - Had to watch it and it grew on me
Venture Bros. - Great combination of adventure, humor, and obscure references
Gummi Bears - though it may be just my memory, haven't seen it in years
Robotech - The Valkyrie is still the best (transformable) Mech design ever created
Animaniacs - What isn't to like?

I have a list I got from a friend, of animes I should watch and gundam is the next anime I'm watching.

Are gundam machines only in gundam? or do loads of other anime pieces use these blueprints for the war machines?

There are a lot of animes with the same type of machines. Code Geass for example has giant metal suits kind of the same as gundam machines.

I do have to admit, they look fething awesome. But why are they piloted by teenagers?!?

In Code Geass IIRC it's people from the army who pilot the machines they have. Gundam I haven't started watching yet so I have no idea.

But they all seem like kids JUST out of school, hardly grizzled vets who can be trusted to pilot these things...

Early Tom and Jerry has some really cool and disturbing psychadelic stuff.

Oddparents is decent but Pixies rule in an authoriarian accountant type of way.

I too find Teen Titans to be quite fun on a lazy weekend morning. I wish they hadn't had to call Deathstroke by his real name (Slade) to make it suitable for the kiddies. I'm not sure it's safe for kids anyway; have you seen what the female Titans wear?

Also, I hear that the movie is due sometime next year. Can't wait!

I wish they would've chosen another character as main antagonist. I never saw Deathstroke as the behind-the-scenes-sceming villian he's portrayed as in the show.

There's a whole bunch of stuff my daughter watches on Cartoon Channel in Japan, which I have grown to like:

Samurai Jack.
Powerpuff Girls.
Puffy Puffy Amiyumi.
Something I don't know the name of where Death, a sour-faced little girl and a Stimpy-like boy live together in a house.
Kim Possible (I think it's on Disney)
Totally Spies.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

I in the last while have been watching more and more cartoons as there is no decent nerd TV on anymore.

My sister is mostly a Disney watcher so I just fall in line and watch what ever she does stuff like Kim possible,Phineas and Ferb(spelling) and so on.

As for Anime I watch Bleach, black lagoon(only sometimes),Angelic Layer,Record of Lodoss war and sometimes black cat.

That's the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Man, I have to watch that again sometimes. I still love it because it has a lot of jokes and references in it that only older people would get, like the numerous allusions to Cthulu and the inclusion of a guy who's basically a clone of Ash from Evil Dead.

I was really into Trigun until the end. Then i was just angry. "Plants!? F'n Plants!?" was all I could think.

Let's see:
Invader Zim (own the six disc set)
Ren and Stimpy
Venture Bros
ATHF
Korgoth of Barbaria (Why!? Whydid they not run this show!?)
Metalocalypse
Harvey Birdman
Squidbillies (I dunno I just can't pull myself away)
Futurama
Family Guy
American Dad
Animaniacs (and all the little sub shows)
Samuri Jack
Dexter's Laboratory
Ninja Scroll (Everybody I know that's into Anime started here)
Avatar The Last Air Bender
Naruto (until death by filler)
Bleach (some filler arcs as well, but at least interesting ones)
Ghost in a Shell (and Stand Alone Complex)
Elfen Lied (damn they should have kept that one going)
Vampire Hunter D (I like Bloodlust better than the Original)
Cowboy Bebop
Outlaw Star
Deathnote
Full Metal Alchemist
Blood+
Hellsing
Tenchi Muyo (when I first got into Anime now I think Tenchi's gay or was born without at penis or something)
Trinity Blood

I am certain there are more, the titles just don't jump out.

Im kinda surprised that there has only been a few mentions for Ghost In The Shell, and the two Stand Alone Complexes.

I mean, I still cry at the end of SAC 2nd GIG when the Tachikomas sacrifice themselves. The back story tie in with Kuze and Motoko punctuated with the origami crane at the end was a rather elegant touch.

On the same storyline, the two Appleseed movies also impressed me.

I guess the silly sort of anime, or the very tired teen based characters dont generally hold much appeal for me.
