At least you can see most of the details! That one could be redeemed if you used really thin paint. But the two bounty hunters need to be purge with fire.

I don't know...I guess people around here are worse painters than anywhere else in the country...this is far from the worst paintjob I've ever seen. And while $400 dollars is pretty steep, I have to wonder what all of those models would cost new. I don't know off the top of my head.

This poor fella has been scratched up enough I think.

Not everyone is a great painter. I know I am not.

The thing that gets me is the thought that they would sell for $400 plus a $25 shipping fee.

But I can kinda understand being proud of your stuff.

I tried to sell one of my BWs for fun and got not one takers so I am feeling his pain.

Those have been on ebay several times by the same person. At this point he has to charge $400 just to cover fees lol.

Were it not for the fact that you can see the original green coat under the hastily added black primer I might go easy on this seller. But he obviously knows what he's doing. You can't possibly look at that and not see a problem. It's almost as if he's looking for a sucker. Obviously I don't know his motives, but come on!

Yeah $400 for an army like that is really steep, maybe $100-$200 for it all.

At least most of the model are already primed for a better paint job.

On the other hand it is a themed Star wars army, but the number of models the seller is offering verse the price you could probably get more models individually purchasing each unit. You could probably find an army with more models for less than what he's selling it for.

This Kabalite just vomited, and you have no idea what it takes to make one sick!

Well if it truly is your action to you yes it may be worth $400, and you may have spent several heart full hours painting this army putting as much detail into each model as you could. There is a big difference of quality of the paint job verses the cost and when a potential buyer comes accost a themed star wars army for $400 they will expect a decent quality paint job. Where it got you was that in the close ups the paint jobs on many of the models was very patchy and flat and rather thick paint with not much detail into each model, while you may have painted in the defining features for many of the themed models. Much of the detailing some one would expect of a $400 dollar themed army was simply not there.

Why isn't it legit? The person has 100% good feedback on similar items like a Salamander Marine that sold for £260.

If i was running a painting class i would give him a c-(im being very nice). great idea but crud presenting. Why does
1 vader have no helmet.
2. just a black armor da chapter master.
3. that doesnt count as conversion. just weird painting.

It just seems...off. They're only asking for $30 odd (thats australian dollars) for a golden demon quality mini.

You know one of the things to look out for on ebay is people getting their friends to outbid everything and then just giving them their money back and getting top feedback. It happens.

To add some technical advice, in order to aid improvement, to my earlier post I would like to suggest trying finger painting first. When you have mastered that, move on to wax crayons (the chunky ones first) then move onto to the finer pointed wax crayons. Only then will you be ready to tackle flat colours on model airplanes........................

Come on it's not THAT bad! Really, I have seen worse, not everyone can paint like a pro (it does take practice), although he is asking $400 for it, and it is probably worth less than a quarter of that. Maybe he made a mistake with pricing.

If i had the money and time to spare, i would buy these minis, then do a youtube video of them being fed into a food processor. Its the only way to do them justice IMO. Too harsh?
