Arakasi reporting for duty! Automatic machine guns? What automatic machine guns?

DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA

Oh, *those* automatic machine guns. I'm on it - not too late I hope!

Back on topic... Meganobz and Warboss would be great in plastic. Buggies and Skorchas are no brainers. Though really, I could just use knowing the dimensions of the "new" kits - the chances of me using a standard kit as is is pretty low (unless its awesome!), and that way my conversions would be correctly sized for the future! (and not just a real Ork sized driver and wheelz)

Carry on! Don't let the dead trip you up...

The buggies are shameful. Dark Eldar models need to at least get some new helmet free heads. The detail has sucked ever sense the first print, but thats not going to happen because nobody plays them. Necrons look good but there list choices are minimal. But I don't care about any of this I want an AD Mech conversion kit from forge world!

I don't think the LOTR line is that bad. It just seems that whoever they had at 'Eavy Metal to paint them up just couldn't do faces.

When I first saw Frodo's I think I giggled for at least 10 minutes before I moved onto Sam's just as laughable expression.
Frodo looks pedoish and creepy, Sam just looks utterly stupid.

Frodo has ALWAYS had a weird expression on his face. I mean...Elijah Wood's eyes creep me the feth out, and his big warm smiles? Something just...just doesn't seem write. I cringe and die a little inside each time.

I would have to disagree.. While I hear people complain about the ankle joints, I haven't had any problems with them and kinda like the base XV8 crisisi suit model used for the Crisis and Broadside Suits. Now the Broadsides weapons sprue would be a thousand times better in plastic. The tau model that needs a plastic kit though is Sniper Drone Teams. All metal and a pain in the ass to assemble. I can mod Firewarriors into Pathfinders all day but I cant mod the railguns on the broadsides into existence.

2000 pt IG infantry blob army with Leman Russ Punisher for support

Around half the entire Warmachine range.

Uber-Pauldrons =/= Cool

Heck, most Warjacks have pauldrons and shoulders SO big that they make up half of the bulk of the upper body and make the whole model look like it has tiny little legs.

Blizzard does this too with their games. They obviously got the idea off GW, but at least GW left it at Space Marines. And even then, at least they weren't THAT bad.

I'm going to have to throw my vote in for the Eldar jetbikes. They just don't fit in with the rest of the sleek range - to me, they need more of a sports-bike-look than the current chopper-look...

One from each 40k army (minus DE):

BA: Mephiston -- not a bad model but he should be so, so much cooler

BT: Grimaldus (by default; their stuff looks great generally)

Daemons: Fiends -- some people love them; people with eyes, however . . .

DA: "makeover" the existing Deathwing solos into a Termie upgrade kit

CSM: Raptors -- a beautiful concept that has yet to translate well (dread is at a higher priority but that's too obvious by page 3)

Daemonhunters: actually, it's all good

Eldar: Swooping Hawks -- like Mephiston, good but should be much better (could also be said of Striking Scorpions and Howling Banshees)

Imperial Guard: Vostroyans -- make these guys plastic . . . this is the ONLY way I will ever have a serious Guard army

Necrons: again, what they have is good (they just need more things)

Orks: it all looks the same to me

SM: Cassius looks like crap but GW could do us a real favor and update Kosarro with a kit including Moondrakken

SW: Canis -- and by makeover here I mean "go back in time and make sure this never happens"

Tau: Crisis Suits . . . they look so dumb compared to the new FW ones

Tyranids: Zoanthrope is a bit tame next to the new wave

Witch Hunters: Sisters. In plastic. (You gotta start somewhere.)

It's not fair. Why does Huron Blackheart get a new miniature and Abaddon doesn't? The Abaddon sculpt is much older than Huron.

The IG Rough Riders could really do with new models, preferably plastic ones, the current models from GW look terrible I have converted some of my own making them bikers but a decent, and not overly priced metal, model would be very nice. they are very useful and i think that one of the main things that keeps people from running them is the way they look as well as the price of the models themselves.
