if anyone kows how to get a good stringy blood and guts effect could you please let me know as thats all ive gotta really do to this bloke to make him look more kickass.

The best way I've found to do a "stringy blood and guts effect" is to glue small pieces of thin fishing line, about 5 - 15 mm from the weapons edge. Then dribble some of the glue down the fishing line so it formes a dropplet at the end. then mix some nice blood paint (I use a gloss engine red myself) with some everyday beach sand (not too much, a little go's a long way). Paint the sand/blood mix onto the dried fishing line and your done. easy to do and looks fantastic when your through.

It is the 3rd Millennium. For more than a hundred months Games Workshop has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Nottingham. It is the foremost of wargames by the will of the neckbeards, and master of a million tabletops by the might of their inexhaustible wallets. It is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with business strategies from the early Industrial Revolution Age. It is the Carrion Lord of the wargaming scene for whom a thousand veteran players are sacrificed every day, so that it may never truly die. Yet even in its deathless state, GW continues its eternal vigilance. Mighty battleforce starter-sets cross the online-store-infested miasma of the internet, the only route between distant countries, their way lit by a draconian retail trade-agreement, the legal manifestation of the GW's will. Vast armies of lawyers give battle in GW's name on uncounted websites. Greatest amongst its soldiers are the Guardians of the IP, the Legal Team, bio-engineered super-donkey-caves. Their comrades in arms are legion: the writing team and countless untested rulebooks, the ever vigilant redshirts, and the writers of White Dwarf, to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from other games, their own incompetence, Based Chinaman - and worse. To support Games Workshop in such times is to spend untold billions. It is to support the cruelest and most dickish company imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of sales discounts and Warhammer Fantasy Battle, for so much has been dropped, never to be re-published again. Forget the promise of cheaper digital content and caring about the fanbase, for in the GW HQ there is only profit-seeking, Space Marines and Sigmarines. There is no fun amongst the hobby shops, only an eternity of raging and spending, and the laughter of former employees who left GW to join better companies.

So much awesome in this thread. Stand out is the termi with the ball on chain. Love how you've got the blood trailing back as if he's just mashed something in front of him. (Though I have to second what Natorum said about Tamiya clear red).

check out my gallery and you'll see an old picture of about 15k of it, but believe me i'd rather have higher quality models such as yours before ever having the 20k worth. It's a huge pain to have repaint them all, lol.

Hey guys as a quick update to what ive been doin...i finished a few more minis over the past two weeks to play in a local tourni which was 1000pts.

In the tourni i played the army as tainted BT and used chaos rules, which is why i went out and finished a vrok deamon to be my GD in the army take note of the BT symbol with the chaos symbol bloodead over it on the deamon robe.

Second photo is the last of the termis for my first squad and a melta gun dude.

To add to my last these are the next pieces im workin on. as theres another tourni comin up in march thats 1500pts and i wanna play the army as normal BT ive gotta get Helbrecht and the tech marine biker done aswell as these as there in the army list.

the deamons straight from ultraforge.i worn you if you want one that you must wash it with some warm water before you do anything as the resin has a thick glaze film over it but aother than that one of the best minis ive ever seen in the quality and pose and sheer size.

Looks nice, not sure about the missile on the Heavy flamer termi, and anyway if you are using it as a cyclone then its not pratical. Bad armour save roll and you've lost both the HF and the CML. plus he can only fire one...

As for the melas gun dude, the BT symbol on his face doesn't look quite as neat as your normal work...otherwise really nice stuff.
