That made my day, accidents involving cats are typically funny.
I had a similar problem. I've sprayed indoors plenty of times and never had problems until I used Army Painter brand primer. It was a red primer. I laid down plenty of newspaper and other such things to catch any spray. Well after I was done there was red spots ALL OVER my room. My TV had red dust all over it, and the worst of all, there was red stains stretching into the kitchen floors and even made it into my bathroom. Since I live in the barracks, the inspector douches made a random inspection for damage and called me up claiming they were gonna charge me for the stained floors. To which I replied "So nevermind the fact that you donkey-caves have not fixed the heater or my broken toilet which I called about NUMEROUS times in the past THREE MONTHS, yet you are gonna call me about petty stains. Go feth yourself." *hung up*
Needless to say I cleaned the floors up to avoid the army taking anymore money from me.

One time the weapon fell off of one of my old style Dark Reapers. I went to glue it back on, holding the model in one hand and the glue in the other. Without looking, I twisted the cap off the super glue and moved to apply a little to the Reaper's hand. Unfortunately, I had not only removed the cap, but the entire top, including the applicator. So when I turned the bottle over to apply the glue, a wave of super glue poured all over my figure, and my hand. I managed to drop the model before permanently welding it to myself, but my fingers were stuck together for hours after that...

Well one day while the wife was away i decided to do some painting and grabbed my spray primer and balancing it atop my stuff and headed out to are florida room to prime up some stuff.
While going across the livingroom the paint tipped off the stuff dropped hit the cast iron leg spike on the table and you guessed it it burst so i ended up having to replace the freaking carpet with hardwood and repaint the castiron stuff all in the space of a week before she got home from her trip.

Allegedly, they're supposed to be able to pick up on things evaporating. If your water has paint and medium in it, it's going to look pretty interesting.

Got superglue in my eye. That was pretty awful.
I was snapping together plastic minis, and the old ones had the little tabs that fit into the slotted bases. They were a bit tight and would actually *snap*. Well, I'm pushing one into the base, and it's not going in, so I bring it a little closer to see what's going on. *SNAP*. Squirted a fine spray of Zap-A-Gap across my face, and a few little droplets landed right in my eye. I went to the bathroom and could actually see them dried on my eye...the hardest part was not closing it. UGHGHGHGHGHHHHH don't want to think about this ever again but long story short, wear eye protection when assembling minis. Seriously.
Surprised nobody has admitted to...

So, I was working on snipping some Khorne berserkers out of the sprue when my cat bumped my hand and I snipped my thumb. It was only the top most layer and didn't draw blood, much less hurt. I then said "Hah, take that. Nothing can hurt my, I'm invincible." to the sprue, after which I proceeded to cut myself on the clippers and bleed all over my berserkers. Blood for the Blood Gods nice, just long as its not mine.

Thats just too funny! had me almost spraying what I was drinking all over a laptop
Only real mishap I've had aside from the glue covering my hands trying to get the old metal weapon and backpack devs together happened a couple of weeks back, after over 20 years of doing this stuff.
I had picked up an army painter spray, unlike previous ones which needed a scalpel ran round some plastic to open this one looked like it needed tabs removing to get the lid off. Unable to find clippers and thinking they wouldnt get under there anyways i picked up a kitchen knife...
Those tabs are VERY stubborn and I got stubborn too with the pressure. Got trhough the tab and into my hand, horizontaly between the thumb and forefinger. Was more annoyed at when checking it at A&E they said I would need seen as it was a deep cut and I had plans later that night. AP really need to sort their lids out though...

Worst thing I've done is putting a small cut, about a half inch long, and a quarter inch deep, into my index finger, when I was making vehicle spikes out of sprue. dumbest thing was deciding that, rather than let my parents find out i had done this (and maybe lose unsupervised X-acto priveliges) I decided to treat it myself. after trying to stop the bleeding (which was slow and minimal) for about 2 minutes, I, in absolute stupidity, decide its time to cauterize. Never said I was the brightest bulb, but maglite bulbs are hot enough.

I only had the usual with drinking the wrong water (after which I realised that I don't much care for the taste of my paint water, but my brush gets pretty clean in my whiskey ), cutting and glueing myself.
The worst thing that happened to me injury wise while doing something model related was when I wanted to change the blade of my x-acto. I took out the big block with the spare blades and they stuck together, so I tried to pry one off, using my thumbnail to get between the seperate blades. Since I didn't manage to get one blade free with a little pressure, I used more pressure and ended up with the freed blade stuck under the fingernail of my right hand thumb.
It hurt like hell and I refrained from any more knife work at that evening.
