Now I know what Dragonforce is I understand why I hadn't heard of Dragonforce five minutes ago.
n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

What's wrong with studio band? I hate live music anyway, the accoustics are always fethed up, even bands who supposedly sound better live never actually do, and the screaming of the gakhead fans gets in the way of enjoying the music.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Being out in public and actually interacting with humans is such a drag.

Disgusting humans.
Every DF song sounds the same to me. Rumor has it they're having a hard time finding a singer now, lol.

That's the problem I have with them. They don't know how to compose different pieces-- they basically just write the same song a dozen times and changes the 'meedly mi's around, as it were

Like Malmsteen and others i find Dragonforce to be far too obsessed with guitar pyrothecnics. I just don't care how technically proficient you are, when it detracts from the music as a whole it's time to dial down the fretboard masturbation. Give me something much simpler and with much more feel... like Van Halen

I don't think they deserve the hate they get, but I'm not a huge fan myself. I don't care for excessive speed metal, and honestly, their lyrics are beyond cliche.
"If you're interested in Dragonforce, listen to Through the Fire and the Flames. Then imagine that song played slightly differently twelve times more. They're basically that."

I've seen quite a few bands who were good studio bands and poor live acts, but then I have seen bands that are a million times better live than they are on CD.

And to me, Radiohead are better in the studio than live.

You can enjoy screaming fans interrupting the music and arena/stadium/whatever accoustics producing annoying sound oddities and etc all ya want.
But I don't. Different tastes etc.
