Thanks man, yeah the dark paint job was a challenge for me. I still think I might go back and edge highlight this stuff, I've done airbrush zenith highlighting but it could be more defined in terms of the details. That being said I don't like sharp edge highlights on anything and this army needs to be BLACK. The OSL is also something I'm learning, and the models need that color and light.

My philosophy is to use every trick in the book to make my mini's look cinematic and expressive, not the product of some OCD. Not that other strategies don't have their place...

and Here is the first Rhino, it has an LED. I used an amber one for an eye-of sauron like effect:

The OSL looks really good, as does the rhino LED. I do have to say that the rhino is the scariest I've seen

Thanks guys! I am to try to put up at least one or two pics a night now, because I'd rather be painting I still have a huge pile of stuff to do.

This is my bezerkers, there are 20 of them in all. I'm feeling kind of meh about their paintjobs, especially in a camera but they still look cool on the tabletop. Relatively simple but effective. I really need to experiment with more gore.

I love the red/black contrast! These guys mean business!

Thanks Lonelictor. Yeah I'm pretty happy with the skull champions. I use the one guy with the plasma pistol as Kharn sometimes. But so far he's failing me in combat, the guy with the "Brand of Chaos" has been luckier... he survived against a GK razorspam list, multiple assaults against him and and smacked a rifleman dread in the face to tie the game for me

Yes, his nipple-spike skull eyes have been popular at the club as well. But they have yet to be proven in hand-to-hand combat.

Trying to keep on updating this, but I've got my hands full... doing a grey knights commission and painting a Minotaurs chapter army. Anyway that's not an excuse I know.

@Lonelictor: yes he is a DP and I have two in my army, I'm working on a greater daemon which is almost complete, and I'm posting my other DP now.

@greatsword: no it's just an optical illusion. Actually I took his leg armor off so he is less armored than GW version

@Killmaimburn: For the red it is a mix of VMA scarlet red in the airbrush, and blood red. Also I'll use some blazing orange sometimes in the center, but it depends if I want a more fiery effect or something, it's good to have a bit of OJ in the center for the 'glowing' effect.

This is my other DP, Aurglun, I painted him up before Vathmortul so he has a crappier paintjob... but good enough for now. I'm really needing to get some proper lighting equipment, at least, to take these photos though.

Indeed, honestly I'm still on the fence about it I was even thinking of changing his head. Vathmortul got the OOP Daemon Prince head which is cooler looking. And the new DP plastic heads just suck.

Very impressive stuff mate. I really like the Rhinos and your Chosen. Your Daemon Princes and Obliterators remind me a little of Decepticons from the Transformers movies (which is no bad thing).

I wouldn't change the head at all! I think it's awesome how just a hint of a face can be guessed among all those lenses. I just wanted to point out the contrast between the - normally - not so hot bit and your perfect use of it. Indeed a conversion that is - wait for it - more than the sum of its parts
