Paying more per bulkhead than my score, but still good to me. Someone was selling them $5.00 each plus shipping and getting it. He still has an uncut 6 pack or $19.99. Also another set popped up with the basics of both sets, but they're wanting $200.00 and not listing how many bulkheads .

Not an update yet, but wanted to share this. I am staggered that I won this for $44:

I will be back with an actual update at some point but I am not sure when.

Ok, another long time since an update. I also have a terrain update but I'm not sure when iI'll have time to post it so I'm doing what I can right now.

My Necromunda buddy has finally started to paint her Eschers! Yay! Here are some pics of her Juves. C&C welcome, but keep in mind that these models are WIP and are the 2nd,3rd, and 4th models she has ever painted:

I think she will surpass my skill very quickly. I have offered advice of course but the colors and technique have been her choice. A lot more work has been done since I took those pics but I didn't get a chance to take more so I'll have those for the next update.

My Van Saar's have seen a bit of attention. All my Juves have graduated to Gangers but I've decided to not change the models. Just because they are more experienced doesn't mean they grew up / got older.

I've also picked this up at a flea mkt for $1. I'm hoping to turn it into an Arbites / PDF security vehicle. It needs a lot of work but I love to model / convert so it'll be awesome when it is done:

That's it for now. More coming as soon as I have it to share.

Thank you all. I've passed the compliments along.

A while ago I started thinking about the Zombie scenarios I run every now and then and decided to try it again. I used the 100 Plague Zombies I already have.

Awesome, but not enough. I wanted to run a truly massive horde of zombies this time and decided I was going to build more. A lot more. I got started by gathering together everything I had left in my zombie bitz bin:

More than I thought, but less than I was hoping for. The primed (round based) zombies are the leftovers that didn't make the '100' cut from my first project. The 'painted' (ugh) 20mm square zombies from an eBay auction I won a long time ago and never did anything with. The plastic bits are of 5 unbuilt zombies and all the bits and pieces I'll need to complete the conversions I'll be doing on the rest.

I prefer the 'open hand' look for my zombie so I chop the weapons and add a right hand:

Turns out looking like this:

Every now and then I'll also do something like this:

Going to skip through this bit a little faster since I want to get this posted tonight. Here's a series of photos of progress over time. You'll see the number of zombies grow as it goes along- thank you ebay.

...which brings us to earlier this afternoon. Shot of my full collection. 243 models total. Left side= done. Right side and bottom= needs painted bases then done. Top+ unfinished in varying states.

I also want to thank ktbb22. She's done a lot of prep work (cutting, gluing, base coats, etc) on this project while painting her own models. There's no way I could have gotten so much done in so little time without it. Here's some of the work she's working on right now:

I'm having a lot of fun with this.

I'll be back.

Always good to see the zombie horde back does this mean the cult will get resurrected?

@ dsteingass- Yeah, it is. I'm going to find a way to make 7 more for a full 250.

@ Dr H- More coming. At least more painted ones. I have 70+ left to do.

@ Camkierhi- What is this Shaun you speak of?

@ inmygravenimage- I don't think I'll ever stop painting zombies. They are too much fun to not.

@ Llamahead- I really considered putting these on the Cultists thread, and still wish that I had. I was painting Cultists again a couple nights ago. Nothing finished, but a lot of models have more paint on them now.

@ Dark Apostle 666- Lurches back to life indeed. Zombies have always been one of my most favored projects.

Thanks for the compliments. I have to admit that sometimes I feel bad about posting because I'm not back. I want my Dakka stuff to stay fun and cool so I don't bring my IRL here, but it has been kicking my ass for months and I'm not sure when things are going to straighten out.

On to fun and cool stuff. I picked out a few of my favorite zombies and did some closeups. Keep in mind that they look awesome from 3 ft away. Maybe I should have taken group shots of 3-5 each.

Hmm. Maybe next time. I'm going to get as much mileage out of this recent work as I can. Ha.

Here are some of my favorite zombies. More coming as I finish them or take more pictures of the ones I already have.

That's it for now. I'm going to go do some modeling before bed. Thanks for looking, and thanks for being part of why I like Dakka so much.

I'll be back.
