Absolutely yes. However it shows a lack of decision making, so this probably renders him harmless regardless of role.

No not harmless, useless
Yet at the same time suspicious, as he's trying to not do anything in order not to do something suspicious which is suspicious itself. Paradox go!

Lord-Loss laughed his evil laugh

"Well, it seems you four will be my new play things!" he yelled as he charged at RustyKnight, BishopGore, n0t_u and Emperor's Faithful. His charge seemed odd for the others, it seemed that Lord-Loss was moving faster than an Eldar would normally.

However, in an impressive display of Eldar unarmed combat, Lord-Loss took a fatal stike to his head and fell to the ground. Upon closer inspection, it seems that the final blow was struck to a small metallic object under his hair. It was hard to pin point, but you beleive you have seen something like it before.

"It's what our Dark Kin would call a "Combat Drug Dispenser"" announced a voice from behind you, clearly Shi Slaith again, although something was odd. "Congratulations, you have killed the greatest threat to the Eldar on board."

"Lord-Loss, the Archon, is dead" Announced Shi Slaith. "Your path you now follow should be, much..."

Shi Slaith is cut off, and those of you not looking at the screen turn and face it, in horror. A large spike has pierced through the Farseer, which then in a flash, cuts her in half. You're all in shock, until one of you realises something. In the video just now, Shi Slaith is cut in half, from head to toe. However, the corpse of Shi Slaith is still in one piece (just alittle cut up).

The video becomes distorted, and all you can see is a smile, and you can hear it's shrill laugh, and all of you, Eldar and Dark Eldar alike, feel an imense amount of fear...

It is now NightPhase2, you have until Friday, April 9th, 11:44pm(my time) to complete any NightActions, should you have them. The rest of you, be afraid, be very afraid.

DayPhase 3

Those of you who managed to fall asleep after the disturbing events that happened at the end of yesterday suddenly awaken, with a feeling of immense sadness.

It takes less than a moment to realise why.

RustyKnight has been cut up, and tortured or tortured and cut up. He was a Farseer

His corpse hangs from the monitor, as if to mock you.

Amoung the remaining players, there is a renegade role

And Drk_Rose replaces Scarper.

The dead line will be alittle longer, to encompass a public holiday that coincided with the deadline. So this DayPhase will be 17 days instead of 14

Ouch, that's a nasty blow, our guard failed to protect the farseer. We must protect each other. Also didn't you say no random events, so there shouldn't be a new Dark KIn?

I am kind of shocked I survived the night. I had my death speech all planned.

First of all though, WOOHOO! The Archon is down! I am so immensely happy that we caught a Dark Kin, especially the leader of them, on only Day 2. The death of RustyKnight is awful though, losing our Farseer in trade for the Archon is not a worthwhile trade.

Ok, so we have to start another Day and deal with the fallout of Day 2, with the joy and sadness that entails.

Hello Drk_Rose, Scarper has left a bit of a legacy, but nothing you can't turn into your own.

I don't think this is a random event, he said he hadn't revealed all of the roles, so I assume there's an Assassin or Night Lord in our midst who's been here since the start.

It seems that for every victory we make, another defeat falls into our laps. While we were incredibly lucky to have lynched the Archaon, we have lost one of our best players Rusty. When it was revealed that LL was a Dark Kin, I suspected that Rusty was either a) incredibly lucky or b) the Farseer. If there was a doctor role present in this room, I have to say that I am extremely dissapointed that they refused to protect Rusty, who was obviously a prime target for a night kill.

That said, Drk_O seems to be implying that it was a renegade action that was responsible for Rusty's death, not the work of the Dark Kin. This is puzzling, either both the Dark Kin and the renegade targetted Rusty, the Dark Kin attacked someone else but this was blocked, or the Dark Kin didn't attack at all last night. (Though the last one makes no sense as they had nothing to gain from not attempting a kill, unless they have some other night power they can use instead)

I feel that Bishop, in his earnest support of Rusty, has been somewhat vindicated and I'm beginning to trust him. Drk_Rose (a relation of yours Drk_O?), your entrance to replace Scarper and your arrival at the same time of the revelation of a renegade is...timely, to say the least. However, I sincerely doubt that you were involved in this for two reasons.

1) If Scarper had such an interesting role, why leave?

2) Even if you were a renegade, what would you have to gain from attacking Rusty?

Therefore, I surmise that Drk_Rose is likely not the rengade. But I can't be entirely sure of your innocence.

I have to admit it never even occurred to me that Rusty was a special player. I tend to forget we even have specialist pro-town roles while I play. I supported Rusty simply because I was highly suspicious of LL.

Maybe because I had been so fervent in my putting my life on the line to take out LL the Doctor protected me to the detriment of Rusty. If that is the case I feel awful.

I am glad I'm looking a little more rosy, I know in the first Day I was erratic and over excited, but now I'm focussed on our goal.

Scarper left, as he quoted, for medical reasons. Therefore it gives us no clue as to how interesting his role was.

If I remember right, Scarper left due to medical reasons not interest in the game. I think he mentioned it back a few pages or so.

Edit: Bishop beat me to it >_>

I don't think we can expect shocking revelations at the start of Day 3, but we could do with more talking. The revelation of LL as a bad guy means going back through and searching for potential links to other Dark Kin.

We also need to look back at Rusty's work. He only had 1 night phase to do his deeds, so LL is the only one he found (he was very lucky to find LL with only 1 night to work with), however we know he was working for the town so we can look at confrontations and such in a new light.

However with 21 pages to go back through, that's a daunting task... not one for a Saturday evening. I'll try to get motivated to do it tomorrow ._.

Actually, Rusty voiced his suspicion regarding a fair number of people (including myself) and he had been attacking LL before Day 2. I think LL was his prime suspect on Day 1 and he used his farseer powers to confirm it.

Lynching LL on Day 1 would have been insanely lucky, and Rusty only pushed his lynch forward on Day 2 becuase he had likely already investigated and knew for sure. He can't have had the same confidence on Day 1. Don't beat yourself up about it, it's fantastic that we've gotten the Archaon as early as Day 2.

However it has come at a high cost, and with a new Dark Kin to replace him things aren't looking good, despite killing the Archon.

The only thing we have gained is that the Dire Avenger Exarch can't be blocked off at all, so we have one role still standing free.

Hello?

Meh, might as well get going.

Vote: Vulkan

It's really all I have to go on right now, I feel that Vulkan may have been a Dark Kin who only voted for LL when the tide turned against them. If I'm wrong, he's just a useless pro-town player.

While I'm having a crisis of confidance in the other thread that shant be named, I feel here Arheiner's desire to talk about roles mildly distracting from the main task. I feel this act might make him likely to be a Genestealer.

Yeah, where did the idea of a Dark Avenger Exarch come from? And is Arheiner trying to confuse the issue of the renegade role by trying to convince people it's a Dark Kin, or was that a simple misunderstanding?

Also I just noticed something about the Night Phase, Drk_O called a countdown, as if someone with night abilities wasn't using them. Either our Exarch forgot to use his ability to protect someone, or the renegade/Dark Kin forgot to use one of theirs. Unless in that last hour and a half something changed.

I was suspicious of Arheiner before and his new comments, especially a post simply saying 'What?' after he was questioned by Ferrett (even though Ferrett's post made barely any sense without context) make me really wonder what he's hiding, especially since he continued to attack Vulkan through all of Day 2 despite the lack of evidence against him (which EF has now started up on, wondering if that is coincidence...)

So I'm going to start this Day Phase with:

vote: Arheiner

I'd like him to explain why he believes the Exarch to be a Dire Avenger and what he means by an extra Dark Kin.
