Maybe you could use the Soulgrinder armors plates?

@Slayer le boucher - The plates are a little bit to big, even if a cut down.

Just quickly tried Ven dread front plates as shin pads. I like the shape of them, then the pointy upside down plate fits in.

That looks good! I like the way the plates line up! Sure, it's not scratch made, but it will work...

I'm waiting for plastic card and tubes and rods, so I can scratch build. Everywhere is out of stock. So I think I will scratch build the legs on the slaanesh one

The plates fit great, the icon's on it... not so much, are you going to scratch build plates to match or fill/file off the imperial stuff from them?

Sorry guys, my last posts where a bit rubbish, I was talking to wife while posting. So let me just recap.

@RSjake - Thanks. Graven had the idea for the squarer plates, but while looking at them I noticed these ones and just like the shape. So graven should have some credit for that I really want to try what you suggested, and will try and scratch build them like that on the slannesh or even khorne

@1-i - Glad you like it, the plate shape is perfect, just the eagle is in the way but we have the tools to destroy it!

@knightley - I could try to GS the upper bit to follow the shape all the way up, or I could go made and file it of and put a nice skull there

I feel better now I've replied to every one with a bit more effort. Thanks everyone for c@c and suggestions, I appreciated it a lot!!

Holy sh !

You've done so much work since I last checked your blog, it wiould be hard to comment on all the great stuff I've seen on the last pages!
The GS cables are great, the IW dread legs are on a really good way, and the dreadlord is screaming "steal me!" (but I'll be strong )

Really nice work Tipios

Thanks Joe!!! Hope you had a good holiday!

Yeah I really got on with the dreadlord and Iw dread, but bitz orders have slowed it down a bit now. Also trying to paint my pimped wizard, but not getting far with it;(

@graven - It's much appreciated though, because I was at one of those "sitting just looking at it and going nowhere" situations.

Well hopefully the sentinel bitz that were missing from my order last week will come today or tomorrow, then I can get this Iw done, and concentrate on the dreadlord

@limbo - One can not create chaos, without first being in chaos

@Pluxtheduck - the arms look like this so far!

Ok everyone, blame Edios for the lack of progress today. I have been stuck playing deus ex all day

but have managed to pin the legs,

and one eagle has been filed

I tried to get another dreadknight on ebay today, but mega failed the bidding process, I was a cheap because it look like someone had faild on the paint job. I have an idea for a Khorne Dreadlord taker of skulls type thing but that will have to wait:(

Thanks for looking.

Give us some c&c please:thumbsup)

Damn that dreadnought is good!

Too bad they their rules suck, otherwise I'd make one...

Maybe when the new codex is released (Which won't be for a while...)
