The metallic weathering / heat effect / etc is amazing. I really like that model a lot. Eventually I'm going to get my Death Guard whittled down to the point that I can concentrate on making a Plaguelord Super Heavy. I know where I'll be turning for the bitz.

JB: I like the concept of a free Shrike roaming through the treetops of the jungle. I'm not sure that I like the idea of a real Shrike sitting on my couch eating my Skittles.

Well maybe it wasnt in the Codex Astartes. The Fellblade was fielded by every legion except maybe the white scars.

I would have thought white scars would of had a stormlord type one- light weaponry, lots of transport space.

just hovering? I would have thought that would be too much like a thunderhawk- light weapons, frontal assault ramp, large transport capacity... here's what I came up with quickly, using the amazing power of MS paint:  frontal assault ramp, 8 heavy bolters, vulcan mega-bolter, etc.

Don't worry guys, I do have another super heavy variant coming out that is much like what is described above and according to my fluff it was very popular with the Space Wolves, White Scars, and Worldeaters....

Aye, I'm also buying a fellblade (irombreaker/warmaul) and painting it in the livery of my beloved raven guard in late march... gonna be so sweet...

I can't wait to see them Also, if anyone else out there wants to show off their Fellblades feel free to post pics here. I'd like this to be a communal thread for the lovers of everything Fellblade related in addition to seeing what I'm working on.
That being said, I really wish I would have done a better job documenting the build of the Iron Breaker. I plan to build another one sometime this year for a client and will do a much better job of showing the whole process. Building a Warmaul variant is quite a bit of work but the results are all worth it

Actually the Ultramarine Fellblade (and the GK for that matter) maybe part of a larger project I'm contemplating. Once I hammer out the details and get started you guys will be the first to know.

Unfortunately not :( Last year I was asked to do a number of commissions each of which took longer then I anticipated, but I'm almost caught up now. There is still a new resin piece or two I want to add to the DA Fellblade and I need to make the masters and get them cast up first. Once that is done I can get back to working on that beast.
